I seriously doubt that there will be a part 3. Part 2 stops on the so called Netorase ending, and I suspect that will be all. After all, part of the goal with this is to get more people to buy the actual game if they haven't already, so dropping too many scenes in the Motion Anime thing doesn't make sense.

I could be wrong of course. At the end of the day, I don't know how much money BBQ gets out of the sales of these motion anime things... and it likely doesn't cost him a single dime to get them put out, given that they use already existing art assets subject to Live2D. By that same token, between the store-front cut and the cut from the studio that made it, it likely isn't much in the way of profit either.

Maybe to make us find his other works. It would be cool if games like this were updated years later, but money...
I would have liked it to be more 'animated'. It feels more like a gallery autoplay. Still had a good time, though.

The two parts are also titled with「前編」and「後編」basically "first half" and "second half", so it's done.

I don't understand why do they make animation video where they could spend time and money to improve the game with animation and more hidden location and unlock the school building mission with a DLC.
Because the game already done, even BBQ say the artist don't want to draw Kana anymore and want to do other character. They also move on to make a new game already.
Also motion animation make it possible to them making full voice (if it game, they going to need to hired voice actor to do every line which is a lot and they need to put in too)
Let not count if they make animation for game too. Too much work for one person.
making motion animation is clearly more cheaper and effective to do. Motion Animation also pretty popular since people don't have to play the game and can already see full story even if it not have all the scene (and this one even make 2 part).

If my understanding of this stuff is correct, BBQ isn't spending any money on this, that's the whole thing. The circle that does the motion anime stuff basically did all the work using existing art assets via Live2D or whatnot. The circle gets to us an existing popular IP to make money and BBQ gets another, smaller source of income and promotion for their product with minimal effort on their part.

There's a reason why this motion anime studio doesn't have anything that wasn't a CG set or game or something before.
