I think i prefer this over DTF, mostly because it's functional.
That was fun early on when bug where few and far between, but with no corrections and only adding new things on top of the spaghettie code... DTF is a hot mess now. Which is very sad as it does have potential, if you could play for more than 20 sec before something explode in your face.

Honestly at first i kinda wasnt feelin this game felt real generic (micro penis MC and Naive Female lead) plus the Ai art but the plot carries this game. Probably some of the best written ntr i've seen i think this is the first time i've seen someone getting gaslighted into being a cuck (and also a slut) lol, also liked how you can tell that vanilla is slowly losing love for the mc with how she's starting to respond to him in the messages, although it seems like he will obviously just turn into a cuck im interested to see how the plot takes it there.
I think she is not losing love but losing sexual interest in him, I think he is more likely to leave her than her leaving him, obviously, she would cheat but not leave him either. Vanilla seems like that.

I agree. She seems deluded into thinking that what she's doing is not entirely wrong, and that she still loves her bf despite it all. I think there will be a point where the MC finds out and that's when we're given a choice to either leave her (an early ending like that would be nice as an option) or accept being cuck-kun.

Holy nekogirls. This is so good that I decided to stop lurking and praise this. I'm apparently just in the half but - dayum. In fact I need to dose it because it's this good. This just hits in good spot lol. Additional points for the fact it's Vanilla. Would love to see other cat girls in - probably distant - future tho. Incredible job dev!

I don't mind it~ I just wish you (or anyone else) would give it a few days before leaking it at least x-x

One of the reasons for releasing on Patreon first is so that I can catch any early bugs before it goes out to a wider public audience.. a bit less stressful that way
I thought this game was going to be more NTS than NTR, but the way the game is going looks like it is going to end in heartbreak. Like this is just pure NTR and becoming more and more painful to read as it goes on. NTS involved the MC having a say in the cheating and actually being aware of it. But now Vanilla is just outright cheating with no say from MC at all, and I can only see this ending with MC getting his heart broken and Vanilla turning into a full blown whore like her friends with no redeeming qualities. Probably going to drop this game and patreon support unless something changes in the next couple of updates

i mean the name is nekoNTR after all

fr tho MC is being written as fantasizing about her with others already, when she meets the MC again may be the trigger towards routes the dev was wanting.

Pretty sure he always fantasized about her cheating, and it turned him on, dev already said game will have two paths, nts and ntr, and his content has been amazing so far, i am sure the nts route will make up for the overly "ntr" parts !

The dev already said that there will be 2 routes (NTS, NTR), its just that the NTR route is first. What the above said.

My short review:
The writing in this game is very good and the dialogues are very natural
Art and personalities are not a problem either

But this game needs meaningful and directional choices, choices that determine not only the NTS and NTR aspects, but also dynamics of the relationships
Other than that, this game has no flaws
Good luck
I agree with this.

A pretty good decision on the part of the developer. Just my opinion: there are many very good NTR games, but if they also had the NTS way, many people would like it.

This game is amazing, I love Vanilla and NTR so this is perfect :sob:
edit: nvm I had just to advance in Vanilla's POV to onlock her DMs
I really liked playing the game without watching her POV but now that I'm reading it's amazing <3

Not receiving the required message from Elise during the beach sunscreen scene. Did in the previous version. Can't progress sadly :(

Wow, this is an amazing game. Someone else mentioned it, but the combination of the mystery+buildup for stuff like the beach scene is legendary work. That was a crazy good gutpunch scene that I haven't experienced in years since I'm usually immune to most NTR nowadays. If this level of quality continues until the game is completed, I can see it becoming legitimately one of the best NTR games I've ever played, up there with the likes of the best NTR JP games like Leane 2.

I'll probably write a full review later, but I'd also like to give big props to the dev for sticking to his guns and focusing on two primary routes. A lot of other games fall into the trap where they have too many branching routes, so while it's as wide as the ocean, they're as deep as a puddle. Another common issue is that the girl instantly gets corrupted within the first 5 minutes of it before building any emotional connecting to her. This game avoids both those pitfalls.

I only have two real concerns so far. First, a minor worry is that the dev said he's been working on the story for months already. I'm guessing once the game's caught up to what he's written in advance, the size of each update will slow down considerably which is a bit disappointing but understandable considering the alternative is just pushing out large sloppy stories which would be even more disappointing. Or hopefully, the dev's a machine that can churn out 20k words of good quality story a month like the A Promise Best Left Unkept dev.

My real concern is the engine itself. Now this may be an unfounded worry depending on how familiar the dev is with development in general, but considering there have already been a decent amount of bugs that have had to be patched, I'm worried the engine will make it hard for the dev to manage since I find Godot less powerful than something like Unity. Especially considering DTF was made in Godot just like this game, and while it was fine at the start, it became such a buggy mess that people are ragging on it in this very thread. I'm worried this game will eventually reach a similar point where it'll become way too buggy to be sustainable long-term. Plus as I previously mentioned, since Unity is more powerful, it'd be easier to add features like a scaling option that removes the black bars. For example, NTR Mobile is built in Unity and while I didn't like the story at all, I can tell it's built on a solid base with nice QOL features and fast loading times.

I can speak from personal experience that trying to develop on a spaghetti base has caused me so many nightmares. If there's ever a time to genuinely consider switching engines, it'd be now, early on before it's too late, and before you fall for the sunken cost fallacy.

Of course, if the dev is confident in his skills with Godot/managing large projects or is just not comfortable with Unity at all, I'll give him my full support regardless since I hope for nothing but the best for this game.

Woaahhhh thanks for the detailed revi-- wait this isn't the full review??

Days 1-19 were done before the game released publicly and days 20 to 24 (including the beach scene everyone loves) were completely spontaneously written with 0 planning over the last month :p

As for the bugs.. these aren't related to the Godot engine itself - they're from the dialogue manager plugin I use to manage chat timelines etc. There've been relatively few bugs, that only affect a small number of people (primarily timing issues where 1 thing happens milliseconds before another and causes for example the timeline to skip events) - I've been squashing these by modifying the plugin code itself to improve flag tracking, optimizing the timeline load times and a lot of random bug fixes (i.e. multiple-choice events getting stuck). The one thing I don't think I can ever fix is the UI scaling - even something like Roblox has far superior UI design tools than what's available in Godot which kinda sucks but it would be a monumental effort to port over to Unity for gains that just wouldn't be worth it for me. But basically, it's not going to get buggier over time other than the code I write with the OnlyFyans app and stuff.

Unfortunately I'm not a story writer - just a neko-addicted caffeine addict programmer with a decent enough PC to run Stable Diffusion - but I'll do my best!!!
