All in all I don't think this was bad update (unless you're here strictly for H scenes then ig it's bad) but it was more a setup building update where Vanilla has a sort of crisis and feelings of guilt from her actions in the previous update

it is wild to recall how i just stumbled across this game and thinking it was going to a whatever dime a dozen ntr game. But I will be real, it is pretty interesting to see the girl actually show signs of being remorseful over cheating and the like. So having that scene of realization did brough some uniqueness to the game and story so far.

Makes you wonder if there will be an ending where the MC can actually fix the situation before she digs herself into a deeper hole.

Ngl its funny to read these comments and see who plays only for the sexual scenes and who plays for the story build up & lewd moments. Most of the people who play for the story + lewd scenes tend to really like the game, myself included, and leave positive reviews/comments on the page and all the people who only play for the sex scenes and over uses the skip button complains about the length of the update

While we are at it i will give my review of 0.0.13:

99.9% SPOILER FREE REVIEW (only mentioned certain story actions, but not details )

Non-story aspects:

• - Amount of images & animations compared to 0.0.12 was essentially doubled if i counted correctly, NOT COUNTING NTS IMAGES SINCE 0.0.13 ONLY FOCUSSED ON NTR
• - We got a very good amount of words in this update which i really liked reading, ~13,000 words according to my save file (~99k > ~112k)
• - I do like these specific AI generated animations compared to other games since they don't do very extreme and sudden movements, its also very well looped and not spiraling out of control. I'd say that i can compare the animation work and quality to NetoPhone Stories. Great work keep it up.
• - When taking a closer look at the images of vanilla between 0.0.12 and 0.0.13, the images on 0.0.13 look way more clear and vanilla has a bit less of that AI-anime look and more of a normal animated vibe.

Story:

• - I really liked the onsen trip overall as i think it brought out a fair bit of the personalities and what type of people Vanilla's friends are in a visual format. (by visual format i mean how they are "irl" compared to how they are over text)
• - I did not like that the update was only in-game 1 day long, however this was compromised with the good quality animations and the amount of images. The importance of this character build-up for both vanilla and the girls also offset this.
• - Loved that fact that Vanilla has the courage to do more risqué and lewd actions and not act super duper shy or mad at herself afterwards, this will definitely open up more opportunities for more public lewd photos & lewd actions around people instead of only keeping it to text (this however is just my opinion, the dev obviously has stuff planned for the story).

Hoping for more good things to come out of this! Take all the time you need and remember to take breaks to not burn yourself out

If ppl want NTR focused on sex they can just read a doujin or a short game or something - though it does kinda suck when people think I'm dragging things out on purpose or something. I just don't actually find sex that big of a goal in an ntr corruption game - to me exhibitionism, posting lewder and lewder pics online, hiding things from bf, getting increasingly acquainted with other men - all of that is waaaaay lewder than sex (but I imagine most people don't think that way and that's where a lot of comments come from). I really appreciate the support from so many people, but I really, really did not expect it - I said from the start it was a niche game I didn't expect many people to like ;-; but so many people got invested waiting for the sex scene or something and that's just not something I prioritize

The onsen trip was the main focus of this update (I really like the side characters) and Vani's side of the story was just the aftermath of the previous night (but I ended up including a super lewd - or what I thought was super lewd - masturbation scene on Vani's POV anyways). I think this update actually sets up multiple different endings depending on what happens with Elise - because now I feel like you either love Elise (like me cus I'm evil) or hate her so you can imagine different endings where Elise gets everything she wants or where the girls break free of her grasp.

One thing you have to remember is that there's a *lot* more work that goes into each update now compared to relatively simpler texting updates with way fewer CGs/less content - not really an excuse for the 2 month wait time for this update but just in general VN updates require a lot more effort

Honestly, I don't understand why people don't notice all these improvements and little details all around. Diary system; save system with tons of slots instead of 5 or 10-ish like most games not on Ren'py or RPGM tend to give out; actually nice sound effects; A HUGE work on UI design, which don't bug out every time you change between different apps, chats, PoV's or roaming regime; AI CG's quality with so much expression in characters; continuing improvement on animations, that don't feel that much out of place (I am waiting of Vani to record a video as an apology for her fans :3) and many more.

Many people who never touched anything in gamedev or programming seems to not realise how hard to assemble all these systems as a literally one person-dev. That's the reason I appreciate devs of games like Bonds Defiled or E-Thots/BootyTrap (just two examples) - the amount of work behind the system of their games, just to properly and with comfort to players show their story, images and, let's tell the truth, the only thing that most people care - porn, is absolutely impressive. Throughout their work I clearly noticed periods when they had to assemble new stuff, because just throwing more porn inside literally won't work in game's perspective, because, unlike those low-quality ai-images dumps that people for some reason really like, good games have so many work behind them and actual art-direction with context behind their stories.

Just in short - stop thinking with your dick for a second, skipping every bit of the game for a few new scenes, which absolutely don't work without skipped parts, or asking for a save, which ruins all depth of scenes presented in gallery. I understand, that in porn - porn is the main thing (it's absolutely true for myself too, as I would prefer to read a novel for a good story, or play normal games for gameplay), but with an example of masturbation scene, it hitted me so hard after reading through Vanilla's thoughts and emotions in this update, that I had to write all my thoughts here before - THIS is what I am seeking in porn, actual impact of lewd situations and scenarios, which are empty without a proper CHARACTER behind them (that's why I stopped watching common tasteless porn, and switched to games, doujinshi's, comics or lewd novels). The excitement of witnessing things playing out in the most kinky way is a pure bliss, and Vani finally understood what she likes now.
