There are clearly problems with DirectX 9. It's probably disabled or not installed on your system.
weird, i just replaced my Xeon E3-1230 v2 with a core I5-3330 which has an iGPU for testing and the game ran fine. which is weird cause i have a Radeon RX470 and that supposed to have DX9 support.

If anyone has a problem with "drawdeviceD3DZ.dll" error, just extract this to the game's folder.

I was getting that same error while using the Windows decompressor, but it worked just fine with WinRar, try using that or 7zip instead of the base one in Windows.

When I extracted into the folder it just says Nekopara after is already runnng. then it just closes and nothing happens
I solved the problem by using chatgpt (again) if you're having the same issue as me that means you're system might not have downloaded directX since it's used for older games to render textures or it is corrupted. go to
