It should really be included in the OP that not only is there no reason to use the patches but that they brick your game (narrow sting error).
I'd wager most will just auto-apply the patch before checking, having to hunt to page 15 to find this out is just silly.

I just saw a clip of fuwamoco playing nekopara and realized that it has both japanese and english at the same time. is this a default option of the game? I never considered the games because I lost my taste for harems. but if the game has dual languages I could give it a go as japanese practice
