What does annoyed do and do I want it high or low?

Annoyed is a reaction to a response in a conversation. If you annoy her, it adds 1. If you don't, it subtracts 1. The culminative total determines whether you lose or gain a Nemesis Score point at the end of the conversation.

It's an outdated system, soon to be simplified. Don't get too bogged down in variables. Beyond Turn 5, nemesis_score_[char] is the biggest thing that matters in which "route" you take.

The fact you think a bug happens for everyone the same way it happens to you, shows you know nothing about game design.

Before you speak of the “responsibility of developers”, I suggest trying to create a game yourself. Things are not so obvious as you think they are.

Anyone who reads my regular devlogs here knows I use multiple bug testers and test for weeks before release. When you claim I do the “barest minimum” you insult the hours they spend testing everything.

I went to the forums after playing the game and i stumbled up this. Then i looked at your profile photo and had a laugh

Cause the idea of Ace being a porn game dev seem funny.

EDIT: basically i imagine that the one who wrote the commnet i replied to is ace

August 13 Development Log:

Dear Fans,

For those on Patreon, v0.09 links have been updated to v0.09.1.

For v0.10, there’s a lot of work to do. It’s easy to get pulled in many directions at the same time, so I’m focusing on one thing after another:

- Finishing the simplification of choices. This means tweaking rumors and scenes so they fit the new choices.
- Emma and Lily scenes. Abbie may get pushed into update v0.11 so I have time for other tasks.
- Tara and Lily side content. We’re seen Tara begin to shake dat thang for Ace, now it’s time she does the same for MC, as well as get more lewd.
- Conversion of more code to Python. This is key to tighter, more accurate code, which means far less bugs.

August 14: A Brief Hiatus From Development

I’ve decided to take a two-week break from the development of Nemesis Party, with an option to extend it for another two weeks depending on how I feel. My obsession over this game has reached unhealthy levels—its impacting my career, relationships and family. That’s bad not just for my own health, but the longevity of this project.

Regardless of whether my break is two- or four-weeks, all Patreon membership charges have been paused for exactly one month, until September 14.

The design of how to choose those dialogues does not help much. Just play 20 minutes and leave it
