It’s apparently a bug. If you scroll a bit you can find discussion about it. Don’t feel too bad though. I dislike both of them, even as friends, and wouldn’t have answered their call but here we are.
well I found the whole village thing in this update really uninteresting, each to their own I guess.
It happens often, some even straight up steal games from japan and act as if they made it themselves. Usually it's just paying homage, or discussed beforehand between devs. But it is what it is.
Yes so did I. That's what I was saying - if it were a choice I would be back with Eliza. I wouldn't have gone when the pirate twins called.
I can show you a bit. I don't want to do the entire update because that's a lot of effort with no real payoff but I assure you the pattern continues.
My thinking is Buu got permission, like how Digi, Drifty, etc share characters and stuff between Artemis, Leap of Faith, Chasing Sunsets, etc. Otherwise, I don't see a good outcome if the devs of Candylight Studio get involved.
Did you install any mods? If you can’t even start it, I’d suggest downloading a clean copy - and try starting it without adding any mods or anything, at least at first. This is the first time I’ve heard of this and so I assume you have a bad copy - for whatever reason.
In this case probably - even without the plagiarism this game is going downhill fast for me. The things I care about are Ezlia - getting revenge for MCs parents - and (reluctantly) building a house. I do want to build a house with her, just not near the capital. Other than that, I don’t really care. I don’t like the pirate twins (would have killed them myself if I could have) and don’t care what happens to them, or this village, or much of anyone else except Eliza. I don’t even care about being the “good guy” in this really - so the last several updates have been pretty dull for me.
