I get youI was never hesitant to add a save/load system.
The only issue I have right now is the dialogue system seems to dislike me making script changes and it breaks the game if you try to load old saves on new scripts. I'm also in the middle of "rewrite and restructure all the stories" phase because I have better story-planning and foresight than I did when I started (experience is a helluvadrug). So in practice it probably won't be useful across versions for a few versions. Until the foundation of each story is perfect (I'm a perfectionist sorri) it may wipe or break the game for a little until I sort it out but it'll be there for whatever utility it can provide for the meanwhile! Even spelling mistakes seem to do this which is quite annoying and I've had this issue since starting development lol. There are also a lot of other QoL changes that are just as big as this you will find, including in chat navigation.
And thanks, I tried my best to incorporate the (more common) feedback into the rewrite without losing out on the characterization of Annie.
I'm also a perfectionist, at least to an extent, so I can understand how difficult this could be
I don't really mind if it takes time to get introduced
If you manage to do that in a way that will work between versions, that would be great, whenever you manage to deliver it
I'm also glad to hear you're taking the time to refine the stories again, I already know they'll be much better next time I get to play them
So while I found myself un-following multiple games lately, this is one game I'm actively excited to see growing, it has a ton of potential
