I was gonna say that I don't really see the difference between 2 images.
She does look super nice in the last one, that's for sure.
I think the issue is for moaning images, but I'll have to do more testing to see exactly what gives it the more anime look, or prevents the more toon-ish look

Well, I'll gladly raise your queens with a king
An unapologetic Lisa + Dan tease

On a side note, added a toon LoRA to try and get closer to the game's style, because Annie didn't come out right
Will try her again
That's cheating! Where did that king come from?
No matter. I have a king of my own! And with a queen of hearts to boot! (please no "queen of spades" jokes — don't ruin my wholesome polyamorous strawberry Oreo throuple)

Well, here is a double queen retort, while I make the real one

View attachment 5462870
Man, I wish June's story didn't have a boyfriend to cheat on, even though I imagine it would be too vanilla for a lot of people. Just June meeting very open-minded Lori, them turning from friends to lovers, to potentially girlfriends, with Lori constantly pushing June to break her boundaries and inhibitions, encouraging her to be more free-spirited (ok-ok, we can just call it "corrupting her").

150% agree
For once, I would just love a story that instead of being corruption, is just someone opening up to their true desires
And the idea of the innocent virgin meeting an experienced lover, without age differences or power dynamics, is just too good
It might be too vanilla for most, but I would love to see such a story

Well, I promised my retort earlier
So after diving into a complete downward spiral of trying to make Adetailer not screw up face skin color on any character that isn't strictly white, I managed to scrape something that I'm happy with
Hope you enjoy

I think if you have one very experienced and one totally interested person, that doesn't really remove power dynamics, quite the opposite -- even that theoretical summary talks about the experienced person "constantly pushing to break her boundaries" etc. so operating from position of demands/authority towards her supposed partner.

I think I didn't explain what I meant
When I said power dynamics, I'm mostly referring to cases where the experienced person is trying to shape the virgin's experiences to fit their personal desires, like you're trying to mold them to be perfect for you specifically

Instead, a story where the experienced person is an encouraging force, rather than a shaping force, could be far more wholesome, yet just as interesting, if not more

As an example, say that you know you love getting deepthroated, so you convince your virgin girlfriend to deepthroat you
As opposed to it, imagine a case where you encourage her to experiment with things, and she decides she wants to try to deepthroat you
Which do you think is hotter? to me it's the latter, because it's coming from a point where the inexperienced person wants to do something, rather than them wanting to please you and thus doing what you want

I get what you're saying, but I don't think it has to be this way. Lori doesn't have to be June's girlfriend for a big chunk of this story. Just a friend with benefits. So June doesn't have to feel morally "obligated" to try new things to please her partner (the way it is in some VN's: boyfriend wants to see his girl having fun with other men, girlfriend loves her bf and wants to please him/see him happy, so she goes for it, even though she's hesitant about it, since before all that she didn't have such a desire herself).
And instead Lori would be pushing her to try new and naughtier things not for Lori's pleasure, but because she thinks June might enjoy them (in fact, she can quickly become very sure of it). Because she suspects/sees that's who June truly is deep inside.
It's more like a friend encouraging you to apply for that job, that would really fit you and make you happy, because they believe in you, but you yourself hesitate, because you doubt you can do it.

Hmm, i'm afraid i don't really see any real difference between these two examples -- in both cases the experienced person is seeking to reshape the inexperienced person to be more like what's their apparent preference, vs what the inexperienced person actually is like. "Encourage to change" is still pressuring to change, just wrapped in some slightly manipulative coating. The very fact you have one person affecting the other but the other not having any apparent ability to do the opposite shows that there's deep power imbalance in such pairing.

And instead Lori would be pushing her to try new and naughtier things not for Lori's pleasure, but because she thinks June might enjoy them (in fact, she can quickly become very sure of it). Because she suspects/sees that's who June truly is deep inside.

The thing is, the power imbalance doesn't require to push for things for "your own pleasure" or such thing. The very fact you have a person push (and the other yielding) means there's a power struggle, with the "loser's" personality getting impacted. The basic presumption made by the character here, "I know better than you yourself do, what is best for you and i'll convince you to see it my way" implies they see themselves as superior in such pairing.

Now, in some relationships this can be balanced by some kind of back and forth, but in arrangement where it's "highly experienced" person only ever affecting the "innocent virgin", that's really not the case. What you have is more aking to mentor/student, and that is inherently imbalanced, power-wise.

It's like it added film grain, in a good way.

100% agree. Lori knows firsthand that being free to sleep with anyone is fun. So when June sees her bring in random guys and comments on that, Lori can just nonchalantly explain that's there's nothing wrong with that, it's fun and feels really good. Maybe June should try something like that? And after June does and it does feel really good, Lori can advise and encourage her on even naughtier things. But June takes every step because the previous one felt so good. So no real "power dynamics" required.

It's not really about encouraging a person to change
You are correct that the inexperienced person needs to show a desire to experience, otherwise I agree it's the same kind of manipulation
But assuming they already desire experimentation, then I think the example works to show the difference

Why wouldn't June be able to do the opposite?
When your summary of the theoretical story talks exclusively about one of the characters influencing the other (or "corrupting" her per your own words) but doesn't even mention the other character doing such thing to their partner, that makes it seem like you didn't even consider such possibility, or at the very least didn't find it worthy of inclusion...?

I think there is a point to consider here, that would make it a somewhat difficult story to implement, at least in my mind
Usually in these games, the main character is the more passive character of the story, where the "love interest" is the active one, and the more talkative one
So how do you write a story in which the MC is the one that initiates it, shows interest in experimentation and leads along the exploration path with their "love interest" or "influencing party", call them whatever you wish

I'm not saying it's impossible or anything, it's very much not the case
Just that it's somewhat different to how most of these stories are written, and might not work too well in a phone game, if the MC is supposed to initiate things
But maybe I'm wrong and it would work naturally, I hope one day we'll get a chance to discover it

Um, yeah, pretty much. We're still talking about a swinging/sharing game and what alternative plot we would like it to have.
I am not interested in a vanilla relationship game, so I am not including a scenario where June convinces Lori to become exclusive.
She could still refuse withing the context of the story, there's nothing internal, inside the story, that is forcing her or pushes her into a mold of someone else's standards.

I think, in terms of power dynamic, the way you could address it is what i mentioned -- instead of having it very much one sided, you'd simply have characters who are on similar experience level, but perhaps in different areas. This way they both have means to affect the other, while also allowing themselves to be affected. This also enhances player's options if it's a game, because instead of having their character as only passive receptable, they can also exert some influence on the cast.

You're right that it's not something that is common in games, and maybe it's not even something many people would want, given the popularity of "virgin gets "corrupted" into having sex and liking it" model. Still, i'd personally like to play a game like that. If just as a bit of fresh air.

I'ma toss one more June expression into the mix.

We all love Illustrious-based checkpoints. They're great, they're better than almost everything than the old Pony or SDXL stuff. But what has Illustrious historically been bad at? What have we suffered without for months because of this tiny gap in Illustrious's training data?

june_lip_bite.png

Not my LoRA, I take no credit for it. But it's the first Illustrious-based "biting own lip" LoRA that I've found that doesn't have a huge impact on visual style.

Well, too often, devs have excellent premisies, but they modify their goals mid-development, trying to care of what is said in the forums, mostly to attract suscribers.

And the game turns into a mess.

Please don't forget that :

- for each one is own idea of the game they want : you won't satisfy everyone

- people who post on forums are often the non-constructive one (haters, complainers, people that want you to make the game they are not able to do themself , who want you to include their kinks the way they want etc...)

- the vast majority of porn game players never post anything.

So my advice (yes, i'm one who gives advices too) for you dev is to make the game YOU love, stay consistent till the end, just add the ideas YOU think will improve YOUR game, and be proud of the result.

And your next game will be better with all you learned on the previous.
The only changes we've ever done are basically:
An engine update to satisfy technical demands which made sense. Some QoL was lacking and we added it.
Emma's story rewrite was something I was not I was personally satisfied it. I confirmed it with the audience to make sure I wasn't alone on that take but it was mostly personal motivation.
But other than that, we had more scope cuts to make the workload manageable and to not over promise and deliver something that's quick enough.

Point is I don't change things to satisfy anyone here. In fact if people actually played through Mai's story, they'd know it's not an NTS story but most the complaints are that it is. So the people who don't even play the game, rate the game and bash when they don't want to play through it to begin with. That's why I don't take the reviews here seriously. The moderation doesn't seem too interested in reviews that don't play the game.

For example look at the "honestreviews" user who reviewed are game. Can you tell me where he indicates he played the game? He doesn't know the character names, or tropes, or their stories. He's vaguely responding to the synopsis, and doesn't even mention animation (which is absent in the synopsis). Moderation refused to remove this fake review. So I won't try anymore.

I even considered giving up f95 for support for the game but sometimes people say nice things here which is so wholesome, I don't want to punish the many because a few stupids have access to reviews and too much hate.

So yeah absolutely agree with you. I just expected the reviews to be more constructive than random comments with a rating that can hurt us. Some of them are! But overall it's harder to take them seriously when there's a lot of litter. That's about all.

We'll continue doing our best!

I'd say the only way to get netorare is to go looking for it. But all the stories involve some aspect of sharing or cheating or otherwise stepping outside of monogamy. So some stories force NTS, which could optionally lead to NTR. Some are from POV of the girl who is either in a relationship or making friends with an established couple.
The story that comes closest to mandatory netorare is probably Emma's, and that one is on the table for a complete reboot.
Thanks for the informative comment, saved me time
