New scenes to or just rewriting? I'm on DOM path, wanna now if theres new scenes to think if its worth to replay it all again
When I played 13.0 it was a handful of messages in chapter 21 and 28, with the ability to keep Laura from taking Oliver home at all in exchange for nothing to replace it. Unless that was bugged it was pretty disappointing, I haven't played any other 13.x

Why would there anything to replace it? You got the ability to avoid Oliver, that was the point? It's about some more choice and a better experience in the messages if you play Dom, not extra content for it...

Because that's not exciting. This is a fictional game, anything can happen. If nothing happens, it's boring.

The appeal of the situation isn't about saying no to Oliver, who cares about Oliver. It's about denying Laura the release she's begging for. She ends up in Ashley's place all pent up with nothing to do and nowhere to go, and on top of that circumstances means we know Ashley is getting it on with the door open and is definitely going to be more audible since she's teasing Tara. And the payoff for all this buildup is Laura just goes to sleep?

Off the top of my head, she could do something with Ashley, play a role in Tara's awakening, or just have a solo session with MC as a voyeur or something. Some things may not fit her character and some things may not make sense at this point in the narrative, but to not do anything at all isn't "Very Dom", it's dull. There's a big difference between "As a VD, you can make things not happen" and "As a VD, you can make nothing happen".

So yes, I was disappointed. I'm starting to think the tendency system in general was a mistake since Stag really seems to be struggling with what to do with the dom side. You can tell sub comes much more naturally because the dominant, teasing Laura works really well.

Le Stag FYI, there seems to be an issue with the memories in this update (at least the one for chapter 21), as choosing either dominant or submissive sends you on the dom path. Also, still in chapter 21, on balanced, I had both dom and sub lines that contradicted each other at some point (about sending Oliver either 1 or 2 pictures).

While I do get your point and understand your wish, I also gotta personally say: No. I don't wanna have to wait longer for content because you don't like the content we got *shrug*
What you are expecting is again actually different routes, which would make dev-cycles longer. I am all for people getting to avoid what they don't like and even sympathetic about rewrites so the dom flows better, but thats it, no extra content for avoiding other stuff and making all the others that are happy with what we got wait longer...

Pretty L update dom player will still complain and sub player got nothing and as an added bonus the main story didn't advance so its probs better to just skip it and wait for Decembers update. Was obvious this was going to be a let down, when ever a dev derails the story updates to go back and rework a path its usually a skippable update that comes out next with double the wait time for some real content.

I can see that, yeah. But its not a big problem not every update will be a slam dunk.
And that happens with game development.

I will patiently wait for new content. As I am working on my own things.

Went back some pages and saw the discussion about it being a kinetic novel or not and if that's a good thing.

My two cents: I'd much prefer they finish the game with one main route with some flavor variations. Hopefully after that, start adding branches near the end, working from end to beginning to keep it manageable.

I much prefer it because the amount of games that have been in development here for a long time with snail's pace development and no ending because the dev got too ambitious and probably ending up with a burnout is too damn high.

Don't be obtuse. It's not about not getting what I want, it's about spending time and resources on something he's frankly not very good at and would be better spent elsewhere. On this I agree with you.

Every showcase this cycle talked about the dom rework and how comprehensive it would be, how it would lead to more decisions than any other route, and how it was proving more expansive and involved than he anticipated--to the point the update only added one mini chapter. He even started calling it the dominant 'route', not dominant 'tendency'. It's not a hard declaration of a new direction, but still.

If the end result of all that work and all that time taken away from other things is this, then it's simply not worth it. Just give the player a choice between normal and submissive and say, "Laura is always going to be at least somewhat in-control so she can tease MC, it's just her nature". It's the same thing as naming the game "Netorase Phone" so you don't have to deal with a vanilla route.

It's the third disappointing update in a row, but at least the other two were Stag adding new things and experimenting. This is just... nothing. I literally cannot tell the difference between the dominant route for chapter 21-28 in 0.12 vs in 0.13--that is not worth losing progress elsewhere for.
