Yeah, there's definitely no way to please everyone. Nor should he try. Convincing devs to write for the loudest elements of the audience instead of their own vision is how we end up with Mircom on version 47 of his game and PG not moving the story for a year and Deacon disappearing, etc, etc.
To be fair even without the bowing down to the fans, mircom's game was a mess. Thats a case of throwing everything at the wall and seeing what sticks and loosing the plot when everything does. I think he needed a restart as he didn't really know where to go (I still don't think he does)

Yeah, other games. Mircom makes The Adventurous Couple, which is now on its third incarnation because he lost his way not once, but twice. And I think Lagunavii is right, I think Mircom doesn't know where he's going in the end. It's always felt to me like there's a particular story he wants to tell but he can't quite work up the guts to expose himself that way. Devs making some small tweeks based on players feedback is alright, but changing so much almost never pays off.
Worst case scenario the dev himself don't like what the game became and abandon it...

The Adventurous Couple I put indefinitely On Hold after the last remake or whatever. Will continue playing when is completed or close to it.
Lisa I'm waiting for the unnoficial Ren'Py port, to be updated, so I didn't know the story was stalled, since my playthrough is also stalled.
Office Wife I played the first unnoficial Ren'Py port that was abandoned. After that, didn't play it again.
Of these three, the best one in my opinion is Lisa. But I remember Patreon made the dev cut some storylines, and didn't play it since.

I don't think that's an out-of your-ass opinion. I've always been of the opinion that mircom wants to tell "the slutty wife" and it would be much better told from Anne's perspective rather than Tony's (I suspect the reason he doesn't is that female protagonists games don't fair well)
Yeah, TACOS feels like a female protagonist game without being female protagonist in a way xD but tbf, I just can't follow it because Anne is a fucking tomato... that woman gets a face SO red, you think she will explode any second, no matter how light the physicallity of the sex is... xD
I've seen people make that complaint in the thread. I don't really get it. I used to date a fair-skinned redhead who flushed very red from her hairline to her chest when we had sex. She even flushed red on the inside of her thighs and arms. Her ears and neck turned red when she laughed hard. Some people just get that way.
I could maybe see that with a really pale women (And even then I would question why he would include it this prominent, considering all the women I ever knew that flushed easily HATED it), but Anne is NOT pale... on the contrary, compared to other characters in the game (who, if female, also do that flushing, but less noticeable) she is quite tanned and yet still explodes everytime something happens.
