I remember that example.

I might have picked that one too, haha. But this example, and the one I suggested above, would both suit non-bedroom talk. Simply teasing and banter that happens "outside of the bedroom", establishing a little bit of character for the MC and grounding the relationship in reality. I would view these dialogues as separate from the hot and heavy "bedroom" scenes, and not necessarily a part of the dom/sub dynamic.
There was this other visual novel I played a long time ago, where you in the very beginning could establish the MC as very much a submissive in the bedroom (and there was a points mechanic around this and everything), but during a scene in which the love interested would act in a very embarrassing way you still got a few options to choose from. You could of course go the simp-route, but it was more fun to roleplay what an actual boyfriend would do, and tease the love interest for it. Lovingly, of course. It was the more realistic choice too, if you've ever had a significant other, or simply a friend.
Not every game needs this, but Netorase Phone goes above and beyond to ground things what could be called
idealistic realism. And I just want to discuss Laura's big booty with said owner of the aforementioned badonkadonk.
