I'll assume the reason you're most likely playing this game is for the writing quality. I'm telling you as someone who has scoured through the sea of NTS sludge... there isn't a single game out there in this genre that has better written characters or more attention to detail than Stag's work. Every character feels real and distinct from one another, which is extremely difficult to accomplish while ALSO ensuring the dialogue is styled in the format of a bunch of friends casually texting each other in a way that is organic. The development of not only the characters, but the exploration of the sharing kink is gradual, but incredibly deliberate as well. The end result is a story that naturally progresses from one idea to the next while never feeling unearned or unrealistic.
Money doesn't magically make that kind of writing faster. It takes time; no ifs, ands, or buts. Luckily for us, Stag is extremely open and honest about his development process and is very consistent with his schedule. You're going to get a showcase every Tuesday. You're going to get an update at least once a month, sometimes twice a month (barring Stag is unhappy with the state of the chapter's writing, of course). And let's not forget that the updates continue to get more and more substantial in content.
Stag is basically a one man army other than maybe a handful of beta testers, and - believe it or not - he has a life outside of making porn. So to pop on here and act like a dollar amount implies he's not putting his best foot forward for his patrons... it's quite silly.

The quality of the writing would drop drastically if Stag started releasing content more frequently, no matter how much money you throw at him. From what I've seen those devs that do those bi-weekly releases, they often follow a single, linear path with no options or variations, and the quality is pretty lacking. It’s also painfully clear you’ve never written a story before. Writing a good story isn’t something you just do on a whim, it takes time. You need to develop a plot, and often, when you try to write something, it doesn’t come out as you expected, so you end up rewriting it.
Have you ever generated AI art? That process can be extremely unpredictable. Sometimes you can try to create a specific image or scene, and it just won’t work. Then, once you do get something close to what you want, you have to ensure consistency, which takes even more time. So claiming it only takes a couple of hours is just flat-out wrong.
And finally, Stag has a life outside of his work. Throwing more money at him to speed up release schedules isn’t going to change that. What’s the point of money if you don’t have time to actually live your life?
If you really think it only takes a week to churn out a few 'AI pics' and the same recycled stuff over and over, then why aren't you out there undercutting all the other devs? You could be making a killing instead of just trolling us here. Do everyone a favor, succeed already, so we don’t have to keep hearing about it. I believe in you.

And bullshit I saw is not about Le Stag at all, he is, by the way, doing what he is doing and I like it, NO COMPLAIN about his work or his timeline. I am a subscriber on Patreon, and have no problem with Le Stag, even though he doesn't like my criticism and blocked me. I am just tired of painting everything in pink. Everything is so great, the game so great, THE BEST, no bucks can make it faster...

News flash, Stag isn’t fucking Dostoevsky? Comparing one of the greatest and most influential writers of all time to an average guy making a porn game is a fucking stupid and bullshit comparison lmao. Also Being a DIK is an entirely different game in a different genre, so another unfair comparison. But since you went down that hole… we’re at the point where one episode takes at least half a year, sometimes longer. One season every 10 months is no longer accurate.
Just because making this game is his “full time job”, that doesn’t mean he isn’t allowed to enjoy life as well. He has a LIFE life, like with a girlfriend and kids and shit. Things are going to come up and he deserves to have time to enjoy those parts of life as well. You can’t seriously expect any sane person to willingly work 9-5 every day when they can work half that time and still get paid the same amount and still output high quality on a rather consistent basis. That’s not being lazy, that’s not being greedy. Anyone would do the same when blessed with the opportunity of a buzzing Patreon. But the important thing is that Stag is very clear and consistent with his updates to both the game and his community. You can’t really ask for much more in this business.
He has the passion for this game. He’s going to work on it consistently. Just because he’s not toiling his life away over it every single day doesn’t mean he’s secretly bullshitting everyone.

Honestly, I know some people have been complaining that ch.47 was devoid of content when it probably was the biggest (but hey, you have to be all kinds of crazy to block Ashley), but as far as I'm concerned, ch.47 & 49 are among the very best since the start of the game (like, both are easily top 3 for me, with probably the chapter with the four/fivesome at Ashley's place while MC was at work to round up the trifecta), and it looks like things can only get better with Tara ramping it up in the Madhouse (and I guess one-on-one soon, too) with MC. Also, I know I already asked some time ago, but as an additional feature, it would be great if we could have several rotating background images. Choosing only one is just not possible now, there are too many juicy ones (plus, I guess I'm feeling a bit guilty because I don't have a picture of my GF as my phone background atm

Hello everyone. I am not sure if this was already asked, but is the version 0.25 free now? Last time I updated to 0.25 I can't play it because it says the version Patreon exclusive and I have to sign up before I can play it. I have to uninstall it then install 0.24 and start over again. Sorry, I cannot afford to be a patron yet but I do like this game.
