If you're going to offer choices then make them mean something. Worst thing is to give an illusion of choice.

You're not wrong. The events of each chapter happen regardless of your choices. The "dom path" and "sub path" are really just small changes in dialogue.

This game is serving pizza. You can decide if you want your pizza to have pepperoni or mushrooms, but you can't choose to have lasagna.

I agree with you on the dom path being somewhat of a misnomer. It should be called slut path.
You do get some choices that matter though on the dom path. You can decide whether you ore Nathan get to do her raw first, and can decide whether to take her anal virginity or have Nathan take it. So it's not a complete illusion of choice.

I completely understand why it's Laura who makes the important decisions though, it's simply a lot easier to keep the story coherent on all paths for the dev and write scenes for all paths at the same time as opposed to different scenes for each path.

Some lack of player input does irk me, too, especially the mentioned but never defined boundaries. Considering how the game has developed so far though, we might very well get everything we want at a later point, when the dev has finished the core storyline and can then start adding branches at points where it makes sense.

I wonder if some minor tweaks could alleviate these issues. Like instead of Laura wanting to go condomless, in the sub path she chooses, in the Dom path you tell her to go condomless for you, and then let Nathan have that privilege next time she sees him.

Instead of Laura telling you she will fuck a guy, on Dom path you just tell her you want her to do it, and you want no shit from the bull or else you will tell her not too do it.

In both cases the choices are still an illusion, but framed as the MC actively making them happen as s opposed to them being Laura's idea and plan and your always confroming to her.

Just avoiding lines where she seems to give options but it's really her choice that happens wvert time. If it has to happen for plot in the Dom route, then make it something the MC brings up, and desires first and makes his will known while Laura is eager to conform.

I dislike games who give you an illusion of choice, why have choices in a game with no meaning, just don't put that in.
A simple no to a pic that get's forced on you anyway? Makes little sense.

You have three paths, and honestly the Dom path is nothing. You might as well just have the Sub path, because none of the other paths change anything, the MC has no control over Laura even on the Dom path.

Not trying to be harsh her, but you're the one to put choices in a game. You have three paths, and it all boils down to really one path, Laura in control. There is no Dom path. Being lazy about the writing because it will change something here or there is silly.

If your a Dom and tell Laura not to fuck Oliver, then you hit a flag and Oliver is removed from all discussions. Say option 1 in the choices...
The scene where they're at Ashley's house turns into Ashley is the only one who brings someone home, you omit Laura with Oliver. You change that to Laura is sleeping in the guest room with the door closed and that is that. Everything else happens, but the story Laura tells the MC about Oliver is omitted.
Telling her no on a pic should mean no. Shit like that.

On top of all that, this is all done through text, it's not like you're rendering a VN with tons of renders. It take much less 'renders' to change something in this type of story. All you have to do is change the text based on choices, maybe an extra AI render or two.

It is however your game to do with how you want and I wish you the best of luck. But don't offer options that don't mean anything it ruins the immersion...

To me that's part of it, but an additional equally important part is that having options with meaning gives your own choices more gravity.

I'm a player who would likely pick all the pro-sharing options anyway, yet it still feels better to do this when it's not on autopilot; the player is actively directing the mc/gf to do things. It's a subtle difference but has a big impact on player experience.

I'm confident many players no matter what their kinks feel this way too. Even if the story you'd pick completely aligns with what would be a kinetic novel version of your choices, the former is more satisfying.

At the end of the day, the reason people play games instead of watching vids or reading doujins or whatever is to have some input into how things play out. I understand why the dev doesn't want to give people infinite freedom in how things play out, because scope creep kills development, but the current system definitely feels more like picking flavor instead of content.

I loved how we saw how many pictures wehave to get(story or interlude), I'd suggest you could add something like (chapter x missing x pictures. That way, collectors can only replay the chapters until they get the picture?
on my end I miss only 25 pictures and it's hard as F*** to get them...

I've started registering the source of each picture on my side. Now I just have to find a way to display that properly.
