Seems some people really can't wait till dev release the public version, patience is virtue, the impatient sadly will be punished by their own greed. I'll wait till dev release it next week.

Let his Patreon subscribers playtest it so all the bugs can be fixed by Tuesday.
I always let them do that, I was just surprised that someone leak it and people complaining it locked by a patreon lock. It silly as the dev always release it quickly and we don't even need to wait like with other VN that takes months.
why are so many people complaining about it being locked behind patreon login? a hacked version got leaked a few page back.
This is month 3 or 4 of hoping normal non-sped-up text speed can be brought back down to how it used to be. On my android device it currently pops about 1 message every second, sometimes more than one per second. It's just too fast, and having to pause and resume and then pause again for every message is just too tedious and immersion ruining. Game's still great otherwise, looking forward to the proper release next week.

Have you turned OFF the "improved network quality" under settings?
With it turned off I think it's pretty much the same as it always used to be

I did check this right when the update first came out. That setting has always been off for me. Toggling it on and off it not fix my issue. Normal non-sped-up messages still come in about once every second or faster regardless of the length of the message. The cadence feels 'normal', it isn't fast-forwarded or anything. The delay just feels super low.
It has been like this since the message speeds were tweaked a few months ago. It endured the full save wipe required by one of the updates that was released after. I've seen a handful of others voicing the same issue and some have proposed fixes including replacing files, but those sorts of solutions aren't applicable on Android. I may just be out of luck for this.
I do appreciate your attempt to help though.

It 's entirely the fault of those who leaked the game on the first day or even a minute .
It's not entirely leakers fault.
This is after all a piracy forum. Stolen content is kind of expected.
People complaining about locked content have some merit - they were expecting working upload. Of Course, they also just could do their own minimal effort and used the search function to check if anyone managed to fix this problem earlier.
