I've been following and enjoying this game for a while, and I can't complain about the free content that's been released so far. It's been good. I've appreciated it and still do. But a free version that requires you to sign up to the patreon to download or play isn't actually free. This change is a step too intrusive for me.

I always download from the patreon. This is what I installed. It very plainly showed a notification to log in to patreon to play and would not progress. Someone a little bit up suggested there was a version without the DRM that was available from the patreon, but that's pretty much the same thing.
