I also went into this game not really expecting any interesting side characters/girls but I'm very glad Ashley and Tara were included. They add so much more life to the world Stag has created here and make the characters feel even more real. I know some people don't like that they take the focus away from Laura and NTS stuff at times, but without them, I think the story would be worse off and make the world feel less alive. Ashley and Tara both provide different perspectives and commentaries surrounding the sharing kink; and Ashley's teasing and Tara's gradual descent to depravity in particular are icing on the cake. Plus, the banter that the main four have built together is just fun.Some kind of harem ending where they're all dating and MC end up in a giant open relationship with all of them would definitively be a dream ending for me I just don't think this is what Lestag has in mind. And trust me when I say this I am the first surprised I was definitively not expecting wanting to date multiple girl when I got into this game hoping for a good NTS story.
I think this is the biggest compliment I can give to him: what I did expect going in would not caring too much about any side character beyong the girlfriend but not only Laura has been what I'd describe as the absolutely perfect NTS girlfriend and really wholesome her friends have been an amazing surprise as well to the point I could see myself enjoy a whole game with them maybe just as much.
Ashley is done very well and instead of just being another stereotypical vn slut I think he gave her surprising depths with her being your patner in crime in "corrupting" Laura but still coming off as good and lighthearted fun and how most importantly she is really respectful of boundries regarding the kinks explored. It's also a surprise seeing an even bigger degen' than me concerning NTS but a welcomed one when she is really on board with everything that's happening and help you ease Laura into all of it.
Tara reluctance to admit her desires is also very charming and her personality bounce really well off the others. Making her lewd acts feels all the more rewarding because of it.
Now like I said I don't expect to have this ending but in the meantime could we do more lewd stuff with them I'd be more than happy to finally let Ashley experience her fantasy or have an occasion to fuel Tara's voyeuristic fetish.
Also, I am a simple man. The more hot girls I can flirt with/fuck in my porn game, the better.
"Harem ending" is definitely not happening but I do imagine that this game will end with all of The Madhouse's members being extremely comfortable with one another sexually, while still maintaining the Laura x MC romance, which is pretty much all I could ask for from a game like this.
