It may depend from your Tendency. Laura won't say the same things if you're a confident stag, or a submissive cuck. But, globally, some bulls might be better at sex than MC, and Laura doesn't hide it, but she still prefers sex with MC because he's her lover, and nothing can beat the intimacy of having sex with someone that knows you perfectly.
Would you also say that in the submissive cuck route, Laura's most degrading comments towards MC are to be taken as play rather than her genuine opinion?

But I think even though most still want Oliver in the story, He just needs to be replaced at this point with a new character. I think Le Stag's writing has gotten better to where a completely new Dom is better than spending time to rewrite the old chapters. I would like to believe that most people will not go back and re-read the chapters to find out you have written Oliver in a better light.
But I dont envy Le Stag right now as its almost a 50/50 split...

Iirc you can opt out of that in the confi-stag route. So he didn't do it at all.
I would be curious about some statistics on that, personally he was gone as soon as he got cocky and bullish towards MC, you don't get to be disrespectful and keep banging Laura

I mean if we work with the premise that MC is Laura's #1 for everything else, we can also assume that other bulls are "better" at sex than MC because of the added kink that works only with a healthy relationship running in the background. It's like the cheating spouse who rates the forbidden sex with their affair partner higher as long as their encounters stay hidden. Both Laura and MC also love to cheer each other on, which isn't something that works well on its own.
Still, I wouldn't mind a few surprises in their relationship and reminders. For example: Laura could have a panic attack all of a sudden while visiting one of her bulls and then decides to not sleep with them because she wants to be with her rock. Or Nathan could say no to Laura one evening because MC has started to flirt with his GF. Does that sound too far fetched?
You can assume everything you want. You'd be dead wrong regarding Liam, though, and probably regarding Mike as well. And even with Nathan and Oliver, there's nothing that says thay're "better lovers" than MC (and you can bet that Hugo won't be better either when Laura decides to put him in her bed). What makes Nathan the best choice as far as bulls are concerned is:
1) He's basically available whenever MC isn't
2) He's perfectly safe (ie nothing to fear from him--he isn't violent, he won't try to "steal" Laura or anything, he even does everything that Laura tells him--and even goes beyond, see last update--as far as creampies go)
3) He's a phographer by trade, which directly ties to MC's kink
4) Laura having sex with him makes sex with MC even better afterwards
All of that still works if MC is a better lover than Nathan.
But you're free to insert your own headcannon into the game, ofc.
Nah. Nathan is a cool dude. He'd offer to take pics while MC is fucking his GF (I mean, it's the least he can do, at this stage), especially if that means he gets another chance to bone Laura.

Edit: oh that's a patreon poll about Oliver's future, I was talking about the actual choice in game. But it's safe to assume percentages would be similar, I think

Not against it happening in the end. A little more resistance, even if it's just a couple of lines here and there, would make the experience more realistic and spicier in my opinion. Nathan being a cool dude doesn't mean he can't also have a bad day once in a while. It's only human.

He is a huge unused potential in my opinion. In the first time playing the game I didn't like the dude and opted to remove him from the story.
Think about it, we already have a safe and caring person as Laura's bull (Nathan) then why do we need another one like him. Oliver could be someone she goes get some extra excitement (being dominated by him) or to just get used (which she has shown an intrest towards).
I think the hate came for Oliver, when he went straight to ordering the MC after a few interaction.
We can't spend a huge amount of time with each and every bull, then the story won't progress. From the kinks Laura and MC talked about some can be choosen to be done with Oliver. With the interaction intensity between Oliver and MC controlled by the player, either being a chill dude who is happy he got to bang a hottie or a humiliating bull who mocks you for your inadequacy (with Laura joining in) based on the path the player is on.
In my opinion, giving certain roles to reappearing bulls will help the story in a huge way. Like Nathan being chill one, Hugo being the submissive one and Oliver being the dominant one. Give them appropriate kinks to enjoy with Laura.

We can't have every charector being the same, it would make the game quite boring. If every bull Laura spend time with is exactly the same as Nathan (like Ashley & Tara having the same personality as Laura) then were is the fun in that.
I liked the content with Mike and Laura, it was nice to watch Laura let loose of herself a little, and Mike who wanted nothing more than to enjoy her, he didn't care about the repercussion. I was a little disappointed to find out Mike was an ass.
Like that someone should be there only to enjoy being with Laura and someone should be there to enjoy Laura cuck the MC. Now that Nathan is sort of a friend and close to both we can't go extreme scenarios with him. He like doing this for Laura and MC, so we cant say he is only there for Laura and to use her. And he can't go extreme mode because he seen and interacted with MC quite well, it break the nice bond they have.
Oliver shouldn't get that close to Laura and MC as Nathan did (like at the party). He should be in that role of a bull. If he too gets acquainted with Laura and MC as Nathan then it would become the repetition of the story and repetition of a character.
Laura goes on an unexpected date with Oliver in an update, without telling MC. I like it. Even though this is a NTS game with good relation between both main characters, it was nice to see a little dark NTR theme pushed in that park update. For that to remain we need a character like Oliver or someone like him.
I hope to see Oliver continue that role, with some changes applied to his characteristic where everyone can enjoy his updates and not skip it.

Still he's an important part of the story, because it shows that Laura will not think twice about getting rid of anyone the MC doesn't want around.

It's the difference between fine dining vs. comfort food. One can be objectively the better food that is enjoyable if sampled occasionally while the other is something for the soul and a more fulfilling option.
That works, you can rank fine dining objectively but comfort food will always be a personal matter.
What matters here, however, is that MC is the best option for Laura, even if other dudes might have bigus dickus or more stamina or stronger thrust or whatever.

Yes, it really doesn't matter if they're better at sex or fulfill her fantasies in a way MC alone isn't able to. She doesn't love them. The other guys are more or less exchangeable. There's always a nicer cock right around the corner.
I don't know if the "romantic" path will lead to a polyamorous constellation later on (Nathan, the 2nd boyfriend) or if it's only part of the teasing but sex is always different when love is involved. Had Laura not met MC before the others though, who knows what would have happened.

Which is exactly why that's what I've planned since the beginning.
I'm not Le Stag, but I think it's kinda obvious in the game that yes, Laura's teasing comments are more playful than anything else.
