I love the game but I feel like the dev has messed up his story. The game is good but is trying to appeal to too many people. For example I could not care less about Tara, shes kinda boring imo, but we had a chapter dedicated to her because of how vocal some people are.
The same for nts, i have almost no idea why some people are playing an nts and than suggesting stuff to make it more vanilla and less nts - and the dev does this. So now he cant go hard in the nts direction, without it being a lot more work compared to the more vanilla routes.
I feel like it probably would've been better have 2 different games, one more vanilla and more nts game where u can further into anything. Because for right now, the story is progressing but the actual kinks have remained the exact same since chapter 15 - i would like some newer stuff there. But ik wed never have anything too crazy bc it's a lot more work.
Sometimes giving the illusion of choice is better than actual choice because its more work. If people didnt like the kinks at the start they couldve stopped playing at the start. Now everyone is invested - and the story is stuck in the middle

Before the tara update they literally added some kinks. What exactly do you think the dev added thats vanilla? Tara clearly isnt for you, shes a slow burn character. What exactly are you looking for thats more nts then it is?
No, it uses patreon verification if i remember correct unless dev has changed it last i rewrote/modded the game. However the newest version is locked to patreon unless somebody were to leak it. If someone were to leak it you do need to verify using patreon to access the new content.
Just the phrase 'added some kinks' is indicative of what's wrong with the community sentiment and often the writing. As if all that you need to do is trot out a token kink one at a time and then check it off the list. Tara nudes? Check. Creampie? Check. Threesome? Check.
In a more believable NTS story, the female character would start to have compounding experiences where each time escalates the tension and moves along her sluttiness. Here what we have is: something new- reset the neutral- something new- reset to neutral-ect. I think perhaps the author has taken steps to remedy this in the Oliver episode, but seeing the community whining over every decision made there, and the following update, I'm not super hopeful this will move in a satisfying direction.

Valid points. For lack of a better phrase, its like the game has gone on to either become the hero or the villian for some. There is some fatigue in the players around laura, and the rinse and repeat. I think honestly stag either needs new characters added into the mix give the mc more or something to give us a break from laura. Tara chapter was a nice break but maybe cause im in the tara cult. Story needs something fresh, but im not smart enough to know what. I still eagerly await the next update myself, but do understand the community sediment on both sides
Gotta say I agree with this. Even the Oliver update didn't really add anything new (except the denial stuff but that's still an opt-in/out thing), we've seen Laura get facefucked, railed, creampied etc. before, even the listening at the door was just a twist on listening in the next room or the speech-to-text stuff. When Oliver climbed up on the couch, I thought he was going to make Laura rim him, which would've been something new and hot. Just something that pushes things along a bit without being too monumental or extreme, and adds another trick to Laura's repertoire that she can bring home to either share with the MC (stag route) or tease him with (cuck route).
Actually, a "different Laura" (ie a different role for her) would totally work, too. In my opinion, the hottest content with her over the last few updates was her taking charge with Hugo--there's a lot of potential does this road, imho (especially since nothing prevents Le Stag from adding Hugo's friends to the mix at some point), and it would totally fit the current vibe of the story, as she's shown that she likes it quite a lot.
Tara's chapter was indeed great, and in the same vein (somewhat), I guess some will soon start clamoring for more Sophia and Sarah content.

Even ignoring the fact that there is almost nothing "netorase" about this game anymore, it should be renamed to swinging/polyamory phone, I still can't believe people enjoy something so awful. There is no real progression towards anything the game, it just riffs on the same elements over and over, like an infinite loop, how many times Laura fucked Nathan and swallowed his cum? (which seems to be the only kink dev can think of)? Following by "reclaiming sex" or whatever bs "stags" enjoy? At this point one assumes not only the art but the plot is also written by AI since it is completely soulless. This dev doesn't want to write an actual narrative with a beginning, a middle, and an end, it wants this game to go on forever.
It started strong with lots of creative ideas for pushing the limits of the phone genre, like the live & group chats, but then became very repetitive and pretty obviously aimed at milking with story advancement dragging on forever. I can't say that's unique to this game though- it's a common problem with almost any game that becomes successful on Patreon due to the funding model. I don't know if the dialog is written by AI like you imply, but I wouldn't be surprised since all the characters sound the same and describe sex in the same drawn-out way. I just use the fast forward button to skip most of the description, but would be even better if we could automate the MC's emoji responses.

That's because it's how it happens for most people. You don't suddenly try out 15 new kinks the same day. You try out one, experiment with it, then go further later.

You know you're allowed to stop playing the game if it's not your thing, right? I think it's strange you keep playing every single update, only to wonder why people play "something so awful".

I don't play "every single update" I had forgotten about this game for months and months and only today decided to see if there was something new and interesting but no. It's just Laura fucking Nathan and swallowing his cum for the 3748363949th time, some reclaiming sex and some teasing from her friends. Repeat. That is all this game is.
ive downloaded game twice and both times when opening i get game unresponsive and freezes my computer is this a bug

The last time a Nathan chapter was released was exactly 2 months ago, on October 14. There has been 2 updates and 5 chapters since.
Try deleting your autosaves, I seem to have made a mistake with them.

Compared to every other game, the stuff that happens gradually rises and stuff. This is pretty stagnant and has been for months. I just want some good NTS everything else is a distraction
