I am not the one who said Nathan needed to be rewritten. You don't seem to juggle with input (of others) like other devs do, who are way more relaxed about the whole give and take, which is a pity, really. But it's not that I don't even get it: this is your first baby and you can't have anyone reign on your parade.

What do you mean, "no reason"? You answered mockingly to me taking feedback into account, then followed by saying that me "writing Oliver like an ass" was my vision when I've said multiple times it wasn't, and tried (and failed) to course correct more than once.

Amen to this too, this is actually a real good game, and Stag should keep it's own vison for it.

Character-specific spin-offs are on my mind. But I'd rather develop their story properly in the main game, and see later if I can do more, than deliberately keep content away to justify another game.

Just keep Tara's sweetness and innocence; she is perfect the way she is, slowly becoming more honest, but never turning into a slut

I must have overlooked where you admitted Oliver is still not what you envisioned, even after the rewrite. And yes, I phrased it "mockingly" because you were the one who mocked others before for not understanding your vision and having ideas that won't work. And you're kinda right, to be honest, because I am more confused than ever. Not sure why Oliver being an ass is a bad thing. He certainly isn't MC's friend.
I like where this thread is going. We should bully Stag so much that he completely ignores us and what little feedback we have. Then when he publishes something we don't like, we can finally be "right" and be happy with ourselves. Yippee

No, what you need to do is write your story. There's two sides to being a creator; one is pleasing your fans, the other is creating your art. I would err on the side of making something Good and not trying to please people. Please them by making something worthwhile. Build it and they will come, so to speak.
There's so much utter crap out there. Games that are around for two updates, ones that are barely titillating after months. Here's something that really progressing and is consistent and still people complain. Let it be what it is; the story Le Stag wants to tell. It is not an immersive open world life sim.
