seems to have lowered their filters pretty substantially and allow for a lot more explicit scenarios. They are definitely one of the best free services, capable of staying in character and if you're using a character from established IP they generally understand and react as is appropriate.Another alternative which seems to be growing is

It allows for more customized scenarios with multiple people, such as the husband and wife, but has worse memory and handles existing IP's worse than character AI but they seem to have removed pretty much all of their filters and its language model seem to be trained to handle sex scenes really well, able to integrate them with the specific scenarios and powers (if there are any) in creative ways. Character cards and scenarios seem to be more important for Ai dungeon and it will struggle if the scenarios uses to many tolens and character cards, at least for the free version.I recommend using Claude even is really limit for good storyline and good memory(very good) even with the heavy limitation(like you have a limit of characters after a while but you can create a good story with what you have there) and the two worst limitation: Censor, of course. But deepseek is worse in storytelling. Edit: Forget to tell, if some dont want to create the characters except the main character(basically put himself) i recommend using chatgpt to create a prompt(i think is called like that) of what universe(like a fan fiction) or character u want. And is it a fan fiction, i recommend saying always that respect the original character personality.

You could get around it a by using euphemisms but it was a bit annoying. Lately it has allowed for full blown sex scenes, although you do sometimes get "caution" messages, warning that you might be engaging in immoral activities
As for Claude or language models, if your PC can handle it, download the language model yourself and run it on your computer using something like Silly Tavern. That way there are no restrictions at all

Not sure about the limits for violence atm. There used to be restrictions but they at least used to be less restrictive when it came to that than anything sexual. You could have fights scenes where bones break, heads get chopped off etc. But I suspect if you make " full psychopath shit" then you will probably run into some filters eventually. But like I said, might be that they've loosened those filters as well. You may as well try it out and see for yourself.
