would be cool if we could have the patreon version so we can play the whole game and not just half of it

Is it actually possible to start the second story with the new character? because for me I can't actually select the next assignment, meaning I'm stuck

Do you mean that the 'Begin/Change Assignment' button doesn't work? Have you tried using the flowchart?
I tried both, and neither work
I just get an empty contact list, no conversation starts

Try full reset. I can't replicate the issue; it may be linked to a save file conflict.
That did work
Shame I lost all progress, but I can quickly replay everything

If your conversation is stuck with Alex like I was, try fast forwarding the chat.got stuck in similar fashion with lisa

i tried everything, forwarding, deleting the old save folder and restarting over, resetting everything and restarting again and its the same issue at the same point. I always get stuck at the same place with rachel
the msg feel like rachel wanting to send a picture
you open the chat
all u get is this
you open the gallary however you see this
so the bug is between rachel sending "supposedly" this picture and recieveing it in chat

I had to do a full restart twice before I got it to work. Once you pass the tutorial you automatically start the first girl, before doing anything start the second and you can switch assignments.

Netori Dev - Hrm. I'm still having the bug persist for some reason. I'm not Patreon. I'm using the Itch.io v0.5.1 download on Win11 - like real Win11, not my Linux Mint using WINE to run the Windows version.the Itch version work perfectly
- I downloaded the v0.5.1 - the bug still existed.
- Reset from in the app. Did tutorial, switched to Lisa immediately. sped through. - bug surfaced.
- Deleted C:\Users\ACCT\AppData\LocalLow\SMGames;
RedEdit removed Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SMGames ;

Netori Dev so I've booted back to my Linux Mint 22.1 using WINE. Here's some more symptoms/effects even with 0.5.1 like I mentioned above.:
- Completed Rachel's current story (hadn't played it since 0.3 IIRC). When I tried to switch to Lisa, it wouldn't pivot to the new character/story. And the Contact App would stay empty. Even picking the first navigation section in the path didn't start Lisa's story.
- I did an in-game "reset". Did tutorial. Switched to Lisa and it started.
While playing it got hung on on the "Alex" bug again.
However, if I click the FFWDs buttons a couple of times, it would move through the hang-up.
After finishing Lisa's current story line, I was able to switch over and start Rachel's story line.
