Oh boy...
It bothers me beyond belief when I see otherwise very good games being ruined by bad game mechanics.
1) During combat it is not possible to load the game, only to save.
EXTREMELY annoying. You're forced to use ALT+F4 every time you screw up a battle and you know you can't win anymore.
2) Leveling up.
Sometimes you get +1 stat point, sometimes you get +6 and sometimes you get nothing at all. A few bad level ups and the whole character is useless. Also, leveling up is not completely random and getting at least an average lvl up can take tens of minutes and heaps of ALT+F4. It's not fun at all.
3) Ironically, the two characters in the opening image are not the main characters. Actually, the main characters are completely all characters, except for these two. Everyone else can decide if they want to start a romance with someone. But these two "main characters" do not decide anything at all. A single (often you don't even realize it) mistake is all it takes to completely ruin your game and lose many hours of progress. All because your "main characters" don't have the option to say "no".
***************************
This game has the potential to be a 5 star game.
But these bad game mechanics just dramatically bring down the experience of the game. Until the author fixes at least two of these three problems, I cannot in good conscience recommend the game.
