I hope they fixed the bugs too. The first two thirds of teh game work pretty well but it seems to me that the last third wasn't so well tested. A lot of bugs, some of them can break the gameplay but they are not terrible. I mean, for example, that one where the hero gains infinite area of movement. Kind of convenient to be completely honest XD.
The problem is when you dedicate a lot of effort to get one ending and the game decides to fuck you. For example, I have finished two times, one for the slut path and the other for the pure path. In the pure path you can find a ntr scene by the end if you let Gwen be groped a few times (that's what the walkthrough says). But mine remained pure all the time, she was only groped by Carwyn in the last combat. By Carwyn. I can't believe that counts towards her corruption, the game almost cheers you to do it with the new skills and such. It's presented as prove of the strength of their relationship.
Instead, it damaged the perfect playthrough. It has to be unintended.
Well, if they fixed the bugs and improved it as they say... this is exciting.
I really love the equilibrium that the game forces the player if he wants to protect Gwen. It's really inviting the player to succumb, to surrender her. It's so immersive, it almost breaks the 4th wall, the mechanics serve the purpose of the story so perfectly, and it's so fun to choose when to make concesions... I was in normal, I am gonna try a harder difficulty, it has to feel even more immersive.
I am not gonna lie, when I was a teen and played Fire Emblem sacred stones, I could have fantasized about this stuff. Not so perverted of course, I was pretty naive (still afraid of guro for example), but I feel an instant connection with the mindset that created the game.
