Because you have to be able to actually do something.

If you can't write a story and you can't draw, then what can you do? Ask ChatGPT to code stuff for you?

That's why I make an exception for art when the person can at least write. Writing is much more accessible than drawing. It's a skill that is generally used much more. You might not be able to draw a pair of tits but you need to at least have a vision for what you're creating. No art, no writing? No vision.
I mean base on your logic, for people who can't draw they can use ai, and for people who can't code nor write can't? Using ai to write code and do a story telling, is okay in my book, that person still using their brain to imagine the idea for the story, just don't know how to write it, not all people can write a good and compelling story, either because language barrier or just suck at it, but they do have vision and imagination on how they want to picture it. So I think you are just nitpicking there.

NO chance to get both women? Maybe they like each other?
You can get both if you cheat on Zoe. :devilish:

If you're hoping for some kind of poly relationship between the three, I really doubt that's where the story is going. Don't see Zoe being up for that at all.

Quick thoughts on the game:

The dynamic between MC/Zoe/Alice is really hot. Love how jealous Zoe gets and how Alice shamelessly goes after her man. In my opinion, the game doesn't need more girls. Lots of interesting possibilities with just these two. The only thing I didn't like was the way the porn was delivered. Clip window is way too small and automatically skips to the next one at the end. I would prefer to be able watch them at my own pace and not have to keep zooming in when the next clip plays. It kind of kills the mood.

Thanks guys for the positive feedbacks, i will certainly consider any suggestion.

And yes, I worked with AI for the story and coding help. And will continue

The reason is very simple, I have a job, a family and kids. I decided to make this game for fun.
I know very well how to code (i'm a IT manager / system administrator in a big company) Linux, Cisco, powershell, MySql, php, .....
But even with AI, you have to know and understand Sugarcube, AI is far from flawless and need a lot of debugging.

And no, i can't write shit, I tried it but it's impossible for me.

If you disagree about the use of AI, then this game is not for you. There are a lot of other games you can play.
No need to bring that up again in this thread.

Now about the feedbacks:

I will make some corrections as soon as possible in the online version. Offline will be done with the next update.
=> video playback: putting in the video controll and removing auto play next clip (need to remake, clips are only 720p)
=> background color: make it a bit darker.

The main game will be a sandbox managment game, planned for now with 18 girls (ZOe and Alice included)
=> from those 18, some will be main characters with extensive storyline, some are secundary characters.

The managment part will also have a financial system, gians, losses, debts, bankrupcy, loans.

The next update will be:
- going from prologue to sandbox
- addition of 3 new girls
- a base financial system
- unforeseen events
- continuation of the story with MC / Zoe / Alice

I can't give a timeframe yet but the most of the update is already integrated in the code, just need some finetuning and debugging

What I'm saying is that if you split the development of a game in three very generalized parts, then you need to:

  • write it
  • draw it
  • code it
Okay so you don't draw it because you're using AI/real porn. You can't code it so you ask chatgpt to code the interface for you. And you can't write it either? Then 100% of your game is recycled art text and code from everything these language models have scraped off the internet?

Listen, perhaps I didn't make it clear, I'm not claiming my opinion is right and everyone else is wrong. But it is my opinion. Shit, I use AI for art myself. Perhaps because I believe the main area of my game to be the story and the AI art I use is just a visual aid. I don't have any beef with the dev and I wish him good luck, but his text is just lifted off of chatgpt. Not edited, nothing. At that point (to me. Again, in my opinion), that's just lazy.

I agree whole-heartedly. Not many people can draw good enough, but it's in the writing of the story that the author's passion & creativity flows. If a person is not atleast writing the story, then it's just a waste of time.

I hope this will be the last post about using AI. It's getting on my nerves. If you don't like it, go play another game. Simple as that.
Why don't ye try and actually create the story instead of this half-arsed POS. Because all this is currently showing is that ye are a lazy fool that is looking to get recognition for being able to CUT AND PASTE work that isn't your own. If ye weren't using an AI to write the story for ye, then I'd say it'd be plagiarism.. Because it certainly isn't YOUR work. This POS is taking away attention away from those that actually DO write their own stories.

So ye use AI for the art, no big deal. So ye didn't do the coding yourself, no big deal. The big deal is that nothing about this is YOUR work. All ye have done is copy and pasted a story created by an AI Generator onto this half-arsed POS & called it your game. Ye don't like all the criticism? Then take it as inspiration to actually sit down & write your own story. Everyone has a story... so what's yours?

Also, I'm not criticizing ye as a person. I'm criticizing your lazy half-arsed way ye chose to take to make a game.

Everyone else that makes games, can do it properly, so why is it that ye chose not to?

Even those that started out doing CYOA Games (Choose Your Own Story Games), started out with just a story. Those games have little to no art in them since the reader's imagination is what creates the art for it in their mind. But the story is what gives the art focus. The art of a story is secondary to the actual writing of the game.

The writing is where the creativity & vision of the author comes out to the reader/player. Without it, it appears bland & lifeless (which is what your story is).

Why do ye insist on insulting others when they are trying to help ye see that ye could be better than ye currently are? Ye are new to this site, while those of us that are trying to help ye have been here for years. Get a clue & stop reacting so negatively. We aren't attacking ye as a person, we're trying to show ye that your level of effort is very underwhelming & ye could do so much better.

Every single thing posted on here gets both negative & positive criticism, yours is nothing new in that regard. Use the criticism to better yourself & your product. Quit acting defensive like everyone is attacking ye.

If you can read a story you can write a story. A story is merely just a linear series of events recounted. What you struggle with is prose, which is arranging words to convey concepts in a certain order to elicit specific responses. And that's something you can learn. Write a single paragraph whenever you get free time. Make it about whatever bullshit you want. Write your thoughts about how much you hate the fucking sandwich the office cantina slopped onto your pathetically thin paper plate. Write a history of your latest debugging debacle. Write about the interesting patterns of cracks in the tiles in the hallway. Just a single parapraph, whenever. Prose is the written equivalent of intonation when speaking. It gets hard to learn it past a certain age, but that difficulty never actually increases once the language centers of your brain have developed.

The reason why people aren't taking well to this is because it's not you speaking. Creative works are all about communicating how you see the world in a way that cannot cleanly be categorized. If you use LLMs that output isn't how you see the world. It's how the machine interprets the median opinion of the world. People want to read what you have to say, not to read what the machine says other people say.

I can't believe I'm writing this on a forum devoted to porn games.

That is my point exactly. I said it as: "Everyone has a story, what's yours?"
