If you are talking about v0.14 extended then the windows version has slightly more content than the android one, the android one is named v0.14 test and the windows one is v0.14 extended.

So i created this account to talk with all of you who follow the game, so i'm going to be around here looking after all of you to reply all your questions, bugs and etc...

So about the Reboot: Damn the game whas leaked , but don't get me wrong i didn't want it to go outside the patreon because its waaay to early access, so it looks like half done and broken...In my mind i wanted to create a official first version, with all the things that you guys/gals had in the previous version, but that takes time and my official job demands my attention at the end of every year (I'm an accountant ), also rebooting a game its not a easy task for anyone even more for a just a single man doing everything.

Why the reboot happen: Well there is a good saying: "The road to hell, they say, is paved with good intentions" so in the previous versions i wanted the game to improve a lot and i hire some helpers around, the help was absolutely awesome but in the end the code of the game was so tangled up that i had to take like a week just to find a little bug, so I was dying for start over again the code and improve the game making it more simple and with more chance of future content, also improve some older animations that look outdated. My big motivation to continue with the game its to make it one of the best h-games out there, I know there is a lot of good games out there that I couldn't even get close but at least I want to give my best to the H-community.

About being a scammer: Well that certainly hurt... But don't get me wrong it hurts because in the last half of the year i took so many bad decisions that lead many of you thiking in that way, i don't judge you and i'm not mad at anyone its just hurt because its my own doing... So if there is anything I could do to gain again the trust that I've lost please tell me I'm open to suggestions.

I just want to create a good game and if its possible create a lot more, but please remember I'm just a man the only one who works on this game, I could make mistakes but my whole heart is honest in how much i want to give a good game for all of you.

no problem, i am one of the people who like your work and can understand that the code is tangled up and ya want to better the game. but in my personal oppinion the disharmony between map and house and the artstyle of the characters is a little much. maybe it will be better if i play more, i dont know.

and are ya planning to include new characters if ya catch up to the old content? also how fast will be the corruption be in the future and will magic come back? i dont really wish for direct corruption magic but little shenanigans like magically pulling down the skirt/pants, cooling down the nipples magical and so on, would be more fun to magical tease than directly manipulate i think. and i hope we dont corrupt them too fast or too slow.

Well, first of all, its good to see ya. The demo being early access is understandable, perhaps i jumped the gun too quickly in my criticism, so apologies for that. Theres not many things that i care in porn games, usually Im not the complaining type of user. But one character shouldnt have 5+ variants of body proportions / facial structure. I get that its not intentional, I know at some point youre gonna smooth everything in one artstyle. I just really thought the reboot was that point.

About the regaining trust: idk. I mean, if you can keep deadlines and release updates at a sensible rate, your rep will obviously go up. Im not asking for monthly updates, im aware this stuff takes time. But what about, say, 4 months? Idk how feasible it is but i think its decent?. Siren Domain and Nergal Nest are currently well known for being consistent (-ish?) with their updates. Afaik you dont have a full fledged team yet so consistency is difficult, but i think its something that you can attempt to fix.

I really like your game, yours is the first one ive actually played back in v10.5, playing it again in v0.14 was quite refreshing, seeing all the new content. I really enjoyed your game past its flaws, and i hope you keep ironing out till its a complete product.

Then froze the patreon pledges until you hit all the progress from the previous version to the reboot version wouldn't that make sense? rather than keep the patreon running on coming flow of money because starting over on a reboot version from all the characters and such?

This looks like a plain straight A scam and its been seen on plenty of games that been released during 2020 and this current year and of course in other instances so this is nothing new to see when comes to someone coming out with game developing stuff and pulls out this Ace under the sleeve to jedai fuck-mind tricking on supporters which is superb sad but if people don't want to believe facts over your word then that's their own deal on how to waste their money on regardless of whatever you do IRL which is your own business

My older drawings and animations are waay different to my actual art style, but yeah i need to make my drawings to get into an harmony again, but i want to know; Which scenes do you think they are the most disharmonious? -Later in this message i will reply to your questions

Solution: If the problem its the reboot why not go back to what we had in v0.14 and continue with v0.15?, I mean its no problem for me to continue there and release new content for the girls in the city, once we finish with all the contend of all the girls we continue with a new game (MC in the tower)? in fact part of the story its that once MC cross that bridge he gets stuck in the tower, so its kinda a breaking point there.

And about the bugs on the v0.14 i will hire the old team and make a really hardcore play test just to clean those bugs that make the game unplayable.

Upps sorry i read again my last reply and i didn't reply properly to your questions , Yeah i want to include new characters but for the Tower part with new enemies 5 to be exact.

And about the Magic and corruption, yeah i had huge plans for fun games with magic like lifting skirts at school or sex with a ghost (banshe) and some other people in the city, the polls what i did always include "People of the city" as one of their options and there i could play with magic or funny situations, for example the girl that you could fuck in the school was part of tha. and about corruption well i'm not a fan of rushing things but i need to make a balance between dirty tricks of Mc and progress with the girls.

Sorry I called you a scammer just that I been scammed by so many devs I pledged in the past that I am very skeptical of devs and have little trust throught the years.

I think that the reboot is fine if youre truly motivated and plan to keep with consistant updates I think seeing all the scenes with improved and consistent body proportions would benefit the game, my suggestion though is to keep the game simple and dont try to add too much stuff because sometimes thats why these rpgmaker games become a mess, devs try to add too many features,side quests and overall overcomplicate stuff to the point that not only does it confuse the players but messes up the coding.

Anyways thats all I had to say and once again my apologies im glad you took your time to explain the situation means a lot.

naaah its not like the new mom is bad but damn her boob jiggling looks uncanny xD. i meant more that the nice art style of the characters dont interact with the almost realistic artstyle of the map like bushes and so on. im not sure how to describe it.

but great work so far and im positive about the reboot, even if i had bad experiences with reboots.

I think the reboot will time too much time, it would be good of course, a nice scenario and you could polish the characters, i think the character that is most disproportional is Marjorie, ex: the new Marjo is good, but some old scenes need a polishment, like the scene in couch (the handjob after getting "Love")... About the new menu, i think it is good, atleast better than the standard.
Some bugs i found, in the firsts levels of love, after grinding kiss with marjo at night (so you arent in the right time, 4am), you can select her at bed, and you get a error, would be good take of that option at this time (in later levels you can select her too, like 3am, and you get a error.) Another bug is the one where you upgrade the love and get the scene of the movie, where you need to get wine, but you can select the fridge.
I guess it would be good to make the poll, if the 0.15 wins, just change the old marjo to the new one, and to get time, make the next scenes with the new visual of every character if you already have... So you could reboot the map when done with that part of the game.

Another question, so, after getting stuck in the tower, you cant get out right? So why did you show it to us now? LOL, you could use it like a hook to a next game (put it in the end), or this part of the town is really small? (small inst the right word, but it doenst seems to be full explored). Well, keep talking with us, is good when a dev talk here ( i say it to Inusen e he get out of the forum some days after, if you leave too, maybe im cursing without knowing )

I enjoy your work but i'm in no position to criticize your work since I haven't invest a dime on this, but what I can do is give feedback and advice (not a game dev, but product designer and dev)... It seems that you're in one annoying predicament to refactor or not your product/code base, sadly this is a fork in which either way you are gonna get hurt. By refactoring you are gonna get backlash (just look at this thread lol) for the lack of content or sense of moving forwards. If you keep the code base and move forwards, in the end you are gonna spend (maybe ) more time and money tracking/fixing bugs (and getting backlash from it most probably).

I've been in this predicament too (even worst) but from those expirencesI've learnt:

1. stakeholders care more about consistency and new features than redone work, unless is something that is always on their face or a security risk: in your case reworking marj main avatar is good but reworking already finished scenes (couch) would be bad.
2. only your devs are going to appreciate a refactoring, stakeholders and users will not notice this for them is going to appear like nothing has been done.
3. the users are not going to give you Detailed Bug Reports

You already started with a refactoring, keep your loses at minimum how long it would take to get on par to 0.14?
are your stakeholders really going to wait for that?
after getting to 0.14 level, is development going to get faster?

shutting down everything (just for some imaginary sense of justice/fair lolwat) will hurt you the most,
1. you arent going to get the old/lost supporters back
2. without cashflow no matter what the quality will go down
3. is just a death sentence

Also don't make a poll about a sensitive topic involving non-paying people (users) only paying-supporters (stakeholders) but at the end on every decision there is going to be some unhappy people so do what you got to do.

Hi KingAxel000, Don't worry about that buddy, as i told before all of you good fellows it's my own failure to not be able to get a consistance workflow on the game, so i get why most of the people are hurt or mad, so don't worry , also I know the pain of dissapointment from devs too, that's why i give my best to improve the game even if my intentions were good my performance was terrible , I will work on that so just wait and I will prove it.

As for my motivation; I'm motivated to work on either one, if the game continues in v0.14 to 0.15 i will work on finish the game and put my new features on the game 2 and keep a steady development of the game, if the reboot happen I will put my 200% of soul and tears to make the game artistically stable, I'm pretty confident of that because I am much more veteran on the development of games, if only I had the experience that I have now when I started with the game, none of the code mess would happen.

In fact i started the game because I loved urban demons and you know what happened to it..., so i wanted to start one out of pure joy of doing it i didn't expect to grow, my drawings were bad, my English was broken (It is still somewhat broken, but more tolerable) , my knowledge in game desing were null, but I tried my best to improve every version that i drop, so thats the reason why some of the scenes (proportionally and artistically) make no sense to the actual ones, dialogues are in broken english in some interactions and etc.

Hahaha yeah her boob physics are broken, in fact thats quite easy to fix (but time consuming), but i were out of time to fix that little mistake, i was about to fix it in the next delivery , and as for the realistic match, well i know what're you trying to say don't worry haha, but there is some lack of good "nature" tilesets around .

I think the reboot will time too much time, it would be good of course, a nice scenario and you could polish the characters, i think the character that is most disproportional is Marjorie, ex: the new Marjo is good, but some old scenes need a polishment, like the scene in couch (the handjob after getting "Love")... About the new menu, i think it is good, atleast better than the standard.
Some bugs i found, in the firsts levels of love, after grinding kiss with marjo at night (so you arent in the right time, 4am), you can select her at bed, and you get a error, would be good take of that option at this time (in later levels you can select her too, like 3am, and you get a error.) Another bug is the one where you upgrade the love and get the scene of the movie, where you need to get wine, but you can select the fridge.
I guess it would be good to make the poll, if the 0.15 wins, just change the old marjo to the new one, and to get time, make the next scenes with the new visual of every character if you already have... So you could reboot the map when done with that part of the game.

Another question, so, after getting stuck in the tower, you cant get out right? So why did you show it to us now? LOL, you could use it like a hook to a next game (put it in the end), or this part of the town is really small? (small inst the right word, but it doenst seems to be full explored). Well, keep talking with us, is good when a dev talk here ( i say it to Inusen e he get out of the forum some days after, if you leave too, maybe im cursing without knowing )

Hi Z.B.M Johan! About marjo in fact i have my doubs of the new one, i mean its good looking but from what i saw its not pretty well welcome, so a poll will be good (but damn i'm making too much polls lately hahaha).

Also thank for the bug reports, I already fixed the bug in the bed when i was replaying the game but the bug in the fridge was a surprise , huge thanks for your report!
As for the time of the reboot it could take time, but hopefully not too much if i work on what i had now and then add more content, if work exclusively on that it could take 35 days of work, but the new content (art) will be on hold but after that time (those 35 days) i will have a constant flow of content.

I enjoy your work but i'm in no position to criticize your work since I haven't invest a dime on this, but what I can do is give feedback and advice (not a game dev, but product designer and dev)... It seems that you're in one annoying predicament to refactor or not your product/code base, sadly this is a fork in which either way you are gonna get hurt. By refactoring you are gonna get backlash (just look at this thread lol) for the lack of content or sense of moving forwards. If you keep the code base and move forwards, in the end you are gonna spend (maybe ) more time and money tracking/fixing bugs (and getting backlash from it most probably).

I've been in this predicament too (even worst) but from those expirencesI've learnt:

1. stakeholders care more about consistency and new features than redone work, unless is something that is always on their face or a security risk: in your case reworking marj main avatar is good but reworking already finished scenes (couch) would be bad.
2. only your devs are going to appreciate a refactoring, stakeholders and users will not notice this for them is going to appear like nothing has been done.
3. the users are not going to give you Detailed Bug Reports

You already started with a refactoring, keep your loses at minimum how long it would take to get on par to 0.14?
are your stakeholders really going to wait for that?
after getting to 0.14 level, is development going to get faster?



shutting down everything (just for some imaginary sense of justice/fair lolwat) will hurt you the most,
1. you arent going to get the old/lost supporters back
2. without cashflow no matter what the quality will go down
3. is just a death sentence

Also don't make a poll about a sensitive topic involving non-paying people (users) only paying-supporters (stakeholders) but at the end on every decision there is going to be some unhappy people so do what you got to do.

As for the refactoring: it will take 35 days of work, but i will have to keep my head fully on code (rpgmaker) and leaving the art creation on hold those 35 days, after that the new content will be stady like it was before 30 days for a new version with 6 scenes 4 for public 2 for supporters. I wish i could be faster with the content (art) but the animation it is a laborious task and really expensive to hire.

About the linux, I will make that build , but i got no ways to test it, only in a sandbox in windows, so if you find a weird bug tell me .

Oh, sorry Johan... I didn't reply the last part about the tower: eek:; In fact, I wanted that to be part of the main game I was writing the story and creating the enemies, but in the end the plot was too big for just one game, so in the end, I decided to just cut it in half, so if I need to add new mechanics or create something different I will have the chance to be able to do it because I don't have a long tail of older code or plugins messing up with the new ones.

And about leaving the forum I will stay as long as the game survive (or games hopefully) don't worry , but if i don't reply in like 5 days don't worry its just that sometimes my job takes me out of town or I have a meeting with my family in the weekends hahaha

No worries dude I've been there too, its stressful but seems like a work of passion so keep going you can only improve... Seems like you have a plan with define deliverables and expectations so I don't see a point to keep making polls (from what I understand you already did a poll for the reboot previously) just execute your action plan.

About bugs I'm not rpgmaker savvy but I think is mostly javascript (nodejs???) you could catch errors write them into a file (in root folder) and create a simple google forms (description + log.txt) to receive them and have some kind of telemetry...

Solution: If the problem its the reboot why not go back to what we had in v0.14 and continue with v0.15?, I mean its no problem for me to continue there and release new content for the girls in the city, once we finish with all the contend of all the girls we continue with a new game (MC in the tower)? in fact part of the story its that once MC cross that bridge he gets stuck in the tower, so its kinda a breaking point there.

Thing is in my opinion all the art assets from version 12 looks way more better than new ones from version 13, 14 and reboot.

But you do whatever you feel like it with your game, i seen this kind of gig happening on various games i got the trust to support for short periods of time to figure at least 50/50 of the times the game gets to do a 360 flip and fall really hard because of bad decisions so good luck.

the only i liked about the reboot was the UI addition and that's pretty much it, other than that i found it really hard to play the game with the curren assets

Like many on this forum, I am not a developer or anything like that, but I will give you my point of view as someone who plays your game. The original game, not the reboot, I think is one of the best games in my opinion and with very good art, so personally I would like more that you continue with the original game. Why? Because the reboot will take a long time to reach the point where we are now in the original game, so I do not see badly the idea of ending the original version, that is, a few more updates and ending the game with what you say about the tower, where the MC gets trapped. And there would be a good opportunity to continue as a Never Saint II, where it starts from where the first game ended. And in this new game you could add everything new that you have planned, and you could still consider doing part 2 as a VN game, because I get the impression that a VN could have fewer bugs and problems than an RPGM.
Also, one of the ways you could consider for the community to feel closer to you could be to open a discord for everyone, where you give private text channels to patreons and a general one for everyone. In this way we could know more about you and how the game is going.
This game is one of the best and has a lot of potential on a personal level and I think it may turn out to be one of the best H games.
Remember that everything I told you is only recommendations to try to help you.
