Never Trust Reality – v0.2.2 Update Drop
Alright, here’s what the phone has been cooking while you weren’t looking.
The new content covers Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday — and every route gets its own big moment.
New scenes, new twists, new secrets… and yes, a new character who fits the descent perfectly.
The AI Backend is now fully alive:
Dream Log, Documents, Human Metric, Residual Memory — all plugged in and quietly observing everything.
If you thought the phone was unsettling before, wait until you see what it remembers.
As for visuals:
this update essentially doubles the image count of v1.
What started as 40 → became 120 → then 240 total.
The gallery is getting heavy.
And for those following the NTR route… the CEO × Sophie scene has been reworked.
The old one felt rushed.
The new one doesn’t.
You’ll understand when you get there.

I don't want to rate it yet because of how little there is to rate so far, looking forward to more though.
My 2 cents:
The first NTR path is a little abrupt with no redemption, or alternate corruption routes, or minimized corruption routes, it's just DRUG DICK DONE, no bj, no hj, little internal strife. Swapping from conversations is a little buggy - sometimes you need to go back to a finished conversation to let the message cast time play out before it updates another chat. Putting certain characters like ? in a save causes the game to crash. Saves are organized rather oddly, and a default save could be beneficial rather than having to name them each time (minor gripe). The MC could use more signs as to what's going on rather than AI going ok then and it continuing as normal from his perspective. The idea for an intercepting AI like that with logged convos and images is pretty neat, but I think some of the charm of NTR is that the MC is impacted by happenings through partial or elective awareness. Conversations could have a hold CTRL to skip to next choice option to speedily skip through everything and/or read at your own pace. For multiple choices it might be a good idea to move the choices to a floating window with the options, rather than have them on the same area where you may be spamming the next button to proceed the convo (QOL).
Definitely an improvement from the other phone slider NTR games just out the gate imo though.

Typo in the first conversation with your step-sister.
I'm assuming 'Sophie' in the first message should be 'SIL' because otherwise the protagonist's response and her reply make no sense.

Is it possible to change from Step-mom to her full name if you're not willing to remove the step part? It's kind of immersion ruining to see sentences like "Come on step-mom, it's 2025". Noone talks like that.

Looks great, I like the HACKED_OS idea with all its features. I see a lot of apps that can not be used, hopefully they will be utilized to their fullest potential in the future. I have a question about the planned story. There are couple female characters that are close to MC, and the way the story started, my guess is they're all gonna get screwed at some point. Having said that, will the story be NTR where you are just the observer and have no control over things, events etc. Or will you have the tools to influence things? Will there be different paths/routes/endings and will there be options regarding those paths/endings ? Other than only NTR route, maybe some sort of redemption/good ending, or revenge path/ending? Anyway, good luck with the game!

Every single line of the description is so trite, so contrived. Like, chill, brah. Let's hope the game is better than the description otherwise I will write a review that will ripple through every corner of the game. Although calling it a game is trivializing it because based on the description, it is in fact more real than a reality born of your wildest dreams where every choice sends shockwaves into eternity and beyond.

I agree with you about the MC being a bit unaware and not picking up on the fact that his girlfriend has been very distant and unavailable for him. That should at least spark some concern. You mentioned "The first NTR path". I have to ask, are there different/more paths? I didn't notice. Played v0.2.2. You only get to reply to your girlfriend couple of times with 2 options where you basically tell her the same thing only in a different way. The only thing that was highlighted to me as a path choice is the last conversation you have with ur male friend where you get "flirty path" or "chill path"... yeah... I think I'll pass on the "coming out of the closet self discovery" route... Game was looking promising until that came up....

In case anyone else has the same issue. If you try to have a "?" in the save name it crashes the game and does not save.

I used that term only to suggest that it was the first encounter of a path that I could tell. There is another currently dead end path where the dev comments at the end, but there's not yet content to follow, forgot exactly what it was though,

that contract section is def an NTR path fork. def leads to some form of legal blackmail down the road.
Lack of creativity. It has nothing to do with AI. Just normal, usual human condition.
