if you wanna to know a bit more about characters and relations in this game you should play the follower (try renpy version though), otherwise those are two separate games.
Follower is for gamers. There is more to do on the side. Unfortunately, in my opinion, the characters & the story are less interesting. NCC is for "wankers". It is mostly limited to answer A or B to get to the goal. Besides, you can't choose what you want to do. It's a simple linear game. But definitely the ladies are more interesting & attractive. I also like the story better, it's more complex.
I'd say Follower is a bit grindier due to being a sandbox build but mostly it's far more convoluted and dependent on arbitrary triggers. Making it borderline unplayable without a WT which is a tell tale sign of poor development :/ NCC is a far superior project in my opinion.
That being said Follower is still worth a playthrough if you got spare time and don't mind the non intuitive gameplay.

HoneyGames I think I found a bug. When you're on the Dom path for Kirsten no mather you're previous interactions were, she always says you were watching her and Connor fuck even when you didn't. I've attached my savefile from right before the interaction were she says you watched her so you know I didn't(in this playthrough) Since I don't know anything about finding bugs in code this is the best description I can give...

Just trying this out today... wow this game is massive, and so many people(maybe a tad bit too much) to keep track of, but enjoyable so far. I thought about playing Followers to get some background on what happened, even after the intro, but everything is set in stone after those events where everything blew up and everyone mad at the mc for the most part, so no real point to do so.
I tried to get a handle on who I would like to pursue, which is difficult because most of them are in relationships already, and with the stage the game is in where a lot of them don't even have any real relationships paths to yet, and there's no real way to choose to focus on anyone to break them out of relationships. There was a couple times where you could choose like 3 people to select one to text, but that's few and far in between.
Also because I didn't experience the events of season one I had less reason to want to mend relationships (probably why the ntr stuff doesn't bother me either). Kirsten didn't care just wanted to break her up from Maud. Andrea didn't care just wanted to break her up from Yoshi. Rebecca just use her for shoots. Meadow I helped to promote some relationship with Keesha but didn't care for either. Irene didn't want to talk to me so didn't care.
Most of the new girls I have an interest in. Melissa had me till uses drugs so left her to David. Luana have to break her from her other boytoy but she's only interested in sex I would guess. Adele Riley Tatianna Vanessa Elsa all really slow burns that require you to break their solid relationships but no focus events to do so, I guess later. Just met Martina and had a quickie deal but not sure can pursue relationship with. Ashley and Michelle are singles and seem interesting but again slow burns that don't want relationships. Then Zoe Rain and Mary Jane but not the top of my list. Problem is not sure how deep relationships can go or can even be broken so hesitant to even bother keeping interest in someone, just keep points up and hoping something happens I guess.
Only on day 25 so long way to go still. A walkthrough is highly needed for this game, even for just the important relationship turning events, but it would be a nightmare trying to write one out I would think.
Day 37: Ugh I'm at a point where I just want to say just fuck all these people, especially Andrea lol.
