I don't hate NTR. The contrary. I hate low effort tropefest NTR that has become the norm in the genre the last 3-5 years. Harsh criticism is more unreasonable than people raging about NTR that isn't even in the game. Oh well. You read it. Whether you believe it or not, I wish you the best.

I actually normally like NTR because I like female protag games in general. However, you aren't wrong that they've become quite lazy in their writing of the male MC's in those games. Yes, I said it, it's lazy to write them so stupid. People argue that they *need* to be written so stupid to make the games. I think that is a dumb argument. You absolutely can write a decent male MC in those games and still tell an NTR story. A lot of games don't because they can't write good characters.

While I'm glad there's no NTR in the game, I also feel a certain way about the fact the dev was "strong-armed" into giving it up. The same way I hate it when people come into vanilla games trying to enforce their kinks (legit dropped some games because of this).
Like someone else said, I understand the backlash when this stuff gets changed mid development. But trying to coerce the developer day 1 should not be a thing. Let them cook what they want, and if it's not for you, move on (works both ways, NTR fans do the same shit).
