Calling Splendid Ostriches' NewLife a classic is hilarious. He is one of the OG Patreon milker masters. 11 months between updates for a few lines of text.
That's why its a classic. Been around 10+ years, everyone has played it, and despite getting "monthly" updates, it's still the same as whenever you first played it. And when a game with this name comes up, it's probably the first game you think of.

SO does not deserve any right to the name. Most would have finished the game and moved on to a better platform and new material, but when you have a Patreon that affords you a decent middle class lifestyle, and you can just say "Hey, I am sick for the thousandth time, maybe new update 6 months from now about some new lines of text at the lesbian bar" the only thing classic is how he set the standard for milking his Patreons.
He had a big die off of supporters at one point and like magic within the month we had a huge update.
A classic in the same genre would be X-Change Life by Aphrodite, who regularly updates, and is everything New Life by SO wishes it could be.

So the file names have a space in front of the name? Lol, who's bright idea was that??

Thanks for complain about this, mate. Not only the texts, but menus are impossible to read too. Not sure if I can have real hopes for a dev who doesn't seem to know what "readability" mean (I doubt that the game was even tested before being posted anywhere).
