Just a little advice, try to avoid toll walls at the beginning of the development of your game, this applies to both new and first projects.

And if this is your first project, then the goal is not to make money, but to raise your reputation among the players.
The more players who can try your game in its entirety at the beginning, the more useful feedback you will receive and you will be able to improve it, and then you have the right to choose what to do with the game: paid access or limited to early versions only.
