Well like I said maybe he deserves it IDK but probably won't do anything to bitch about it then. Does anyone have any idea how to get the job though? Or should I just restart the game until I get the pervert boss?
He does deserve it. As said by PoyntFury Splendid only does it for the money, has no interest in furthering the game other than adding user-submitted content. The latest update has 3 scenes, all added by users who get not a penny while Splendid rakes in the rewards. He explicably mentions this in the user-submitted text: "...you won't get paid for submitting content. While paid commissions are something I'll be considering in the longer term I'll never be taking random submissions for them: I'd contact people with a good record of writing adult content and discuss it with them ahead of time. Do not write submissions to Newlife with the aim of making money." SO has shown no interest in contacting skilled writers, but rather relying on his Discord users to submit content.
The idea of being disrespectful/mean to a game developer isn't appealing, that you have a point, but to shrug it off as unwarranted isn't correct. SO is clearly milking his patreons, posting one version a month at the start of the month to avoid working for the rest of the month. Adding a custom scene isn't too difficult, though his spaghetti code makes it harder than what it should be. Anyway, this has been discussed to death and I'm igniting a fire by replying. Just letting you know what's up with all the hate. Sorry for bringing this up for the 1000th time.
For the job do you mean the sales boss not giving you the promotion? Say, you ask him with the options "Flirt, Charm Him, etc."? I haven't played Newlife too much lately but pretty sure that's what you're talking about. Keep your stress low so you do well at work. Keeping it low is easy, everything apart from getting specific scenes in Newlife is easy. Rest at home, buy stuff for your apartment, build a character that excels at work (ambitious trait, business wardrobe so you don't waste hours doing a wardrobe like I do). You can also create custom NPC's, thus eliminating the randomizing factor. You can make a Sales_Boss character that likes your character. Or use the posted version on this page to use cheats and set all skills set to max with the cheat that has everyone like you. You can join his Discord and find the latest version of the custom character creator.
Hope you like the game. It's a blast to explore and I've had tons of fun making outfits. Sadly once you speed through the game and know the ins-and-outs of most scenes you kinda grow tired of it since there's, in reality, not that much content. Sex scenes repeat. No threesomes. No lesbian scenes. The game has been in production for years but doesn't have that much variety, though there is some specific scenes I haven't seen since the criteria to see them are just too much work to be enjoyable.
