You can play through the card battles without changing much of your or Cassandra's glory. There's also some map events to spend your glory or reduce Cassandra's. As well as later cards that reduce Cassandra's glory. So by playing right you should be able to get to any outcome you want.

I eventually just turned the cheat on to skip the battles. Just accumulate enough money/blackmail beforehand so you can keep doing the corruption events.

So I haven't actually completed the game yet but I've gone through all of the events except the second green event in Cassandra's list (under the Mind column, 3rd button from the top, it's in green and shows "???" but is not clickable). How do you access that one? I've already completed all of the current Tiffany content as far as I'm aware.

Also, does anyone know if there are any actual scenes with Cassandra and her ex-husband? I know there's one that sets the stage for future scenes (the blowjobs thing), but I can't find any scenes depicting the action. I'm assuming this just isn't in the game yet and is coming in a future update but thought I'd ask anyway.

I think that's the event that makes Cassandra call her daughter Tiffany. I think its required to unlock Tiffany. It gets replaced with ??? once you do it the first time.

Gotcha. Must be incomplete then, weird that they left the "???" in there after you've done all the content but I'm sure the next update will fill that in with something.

I guess there's nothing left to unlock for me in this version then. I've done all of the Tiffany, Emily, and Cassandra content as well as all of the three-way stuff. Great game all around, can't wait to see what the final updates bring to this game. I'm actually playing through a second time, I actually enjoy the card game and deck building aspects so I'm trying to do a semi legit playthrough with minimal save scumming.

Hopefully Breaking The Princess becomes just as great as this game is. I couldn't really grasp the strategy minigame they're using in that one though, it seems overly complicated. I bet they'll streamline it in future updates though.

Semi-relatedly, are there actual CG's in Soldier's Life or Corrupting The Priestess, or are those games almost strictly text-based? I seem to remember playing Soldier's Life for a few hours but I don't recall seeing any CG's, although it's possible I played an early version.
[EDIT: I fired up Soldier's Life and the art seems pretty complete. FWIW, my old saves were dated 2016 so I think I played a pretty early build.]

I played through A Soldier's Life recently and I can tell you that there's not a lot of art. Like the game will describe her giving you a blowjob, but you don't actually see blowjob art. You just see her making faces on her sprite.

I really like the story of this "game", but gamewise I would consider it a mess. Even with cheats it is a terrible grind. How long are players supposed to hang on that game (with or without cheats)? Thze battle system is super boring as it has no actual sexual content at all. The story part is just grindy. So as much as I like the basic idea sadly my conclusion is 2 out of 10. Sorry to say so.

I'll admit that the card battle thing isn't for everyone, but I don't see how it's a grind with cheats. You can outright skip the battles and just progress the corruption as long as you have a tiny bit of blackmail. And as you unlock scenes, the card battles become insanely easy. But if you have no patience for gradual corruption, then you should probably avoid all games with corruption in the future, because corruption is almost always a slow burn.

Is it possible to get a walkthrough of this game or can you play indefinitely without any consequences no matter how large her glory gets?

IIRC, the game ends when either of you hit 1000.
Early game, you'll want to focus on doing as much work as possible while reducing hers by negating her cards. Initially, you won't be very successful so you'll also want to avoid increasing your reputation until mid to late game. The shorter the match, the less work she gets done and the less she flashes her Daughter card. You'll get opportunities to hit her glory later on, so just focus on gathering resources and stalling her work.
If you're new to deck building mechanics, I encourage you to build up your cash and energy reserves early on so that you can upgrade your existing cards and search for more to add to your deck. I also encourage you to keep your deck size as small as possible. The smaller the deck, the easier it is to upgrade and manage.
Good luck and have fun

There's no one true playstyle, so no walkthrough as such. Ferghus' comment above gives some good starting advice, but you can find more tactics and example builds throughout this thread (see e.g. most of page 17). There's no shame in using the cheat early on to cut down the grind (current password here) if you prefer.

Unless it's been added in the last few builds without me noticing there's no consequences currently to her glory reaching 1000, so you can take your time and stop to smell the flowers along the way: Once you build up your deck and reach the mid-game content, you should be able to cut her down to size fairly quickly.

Can anyone recommend other games that have a similar mechanic of the cards changing and evolving based on things that happen elsewhere in the story (like the cards in her deck do), not just by spending money or upgrade points on them? I don't even care if they aren't sex games, I'm very fascinated by this concept.

These sort of games are usually called "deck builders". And of the non-porn variety there's a lot around although not everyone has cards that upgrade/change. There's multiplayer competitive online ones if you're into that sort of thing (I'm not personally) or just single player. I can personally recommend Slay the Spire.

I'm familiar with the concept of deckbuilders in general (it's what drew me to this game in the first place), but I was specifically looking for games that have the particular mechanic of cards that are changed by the progression of events in the narrative that's happening outside of the card-based gameplay. In this case, like how blackmailing her to change how she dresses (which is accomplished largely independent of the card battles) causes one of the cards in her deck to go from "Professional Appearance" to "Trashy Appearance" or whatever. And corrupting her daughter (completely independent of the card play) progressively weakens arguably her most powerful card until it's eventually helping you. I think that's a really neat idea, and it something that I would guess doesn't really happen much in multiplayer games where individual battles are usually self-contained and it's just about winning the match, not working your way through a developing story. Are there any other card games that have that mechanic specifically?
