Windows Defender no issues ran Malwarebytes scan no issues looks like false flag to me.

Seems to be a False Positive, all the scanners above are not certain if it's truly a trojan or not.
It's behaving like one... can be a usage tracker... bug tracker... anything that requires to encrypt data and send it back...
It should be safe... but if you need extra step of caution, play it within the Sandboxie.
This is really strange. Game runs at really low fps and lagging? For the record I have good PC and play games like wuchang.
Any idea what can be causing this?

Found the culprit. Issue was caused by G-sync. Disabling G-sync fixed the low FPS and lagging.

Disable G-sync/Freesync, game seems not to be compatible with it.

Each playthrough is pretty short.
For those trying to get all the endings naturally, some events are influenced by timing, like if an event happens on the first or second day, or if the bug aims for the head or stomach.
Pretty much every ending also has a 'good' counterpart that you enable through the options menu.

A bit off topic but I really want "Graphic Violence" tag to be more specific.
Like how am I going to tell if there will be minor cuts on protagonist's body or absolute gore beyond my expectation.
The only way I can tell is to read the first few comments talking about it on the first page because sometimes the screenshots don't show any of gore stuffs while they're actually in the game.
I can take a bit of games that contain soft gore, but definitely not fully gore-related game (at least not this game, I assume?).
I joined f95zone community last year, so I wonder if they ever add new tags for very specific stuffs.

As far as I can tell they haven't added any new tags since AICG. There's a lot of problems with the definitions and uses of tags, and the admins made a thread with the stated intention to "discuss" adding new tags in a proposed mass overhaul of the system, though many users are saying it's rather to contain complaints which will promptly be ignored.
Still no signs that they'll actually go through with the overhaul, let alone that they've even addressed several issues with existing tags like the poor definition of Adventure as a narrative style instead of game genre, the frequent request for a distinction between Pregnancy as a story event vs game mechanic, or the outright misuse of Sandbox to mean nothing at all, among other things...

By the way little fun fact.
Movie "The Thing" Japanese title is 遊星からの物体X (Object X from Planet)
and you can do this combination for save name.
It's the usual false positives that are thrown for this game engine, so looks more or less safe.
If you (or others) are queasy about it, you can just play offline, as a real "schoolgirl trojan" requires making calls to and from a server.
