But let's clear up the misunderstanding. What he does is not photobashing. He just traces faces. Maybe something else, but not that much in relation to the whole work. First of all, it will be hard for him to find a photo for all his backgrounds, monsters, their stomachs and tentacles, some of the poses of the characters. I'm sure he draws most of it from his head.

This comment about applying filters is just slander based on ignorance. Even the faces he draws are not recreated 1 to 1, which is what filters would do. Not to mention the tragic quality of these photos, overexposure and lost detail. I myself also when I was editing his works I also looked at his work carefully enough to see the methods in which he draws certain things. It was a good lesson for me. I would have seen it if it was a filter.

Ninja draws and his oil paintings, and track record are enough to prove that he has the skills to do it. If you want to draw at his level, you have to devote many years of practice in drawing.

Agree at 99% I don't think he draws from his head but probably uses solid references for textures and all. I have a bit of experience and I can tell how much discipline and dedication are needed to develop skills. The trickiest part to learn for me was colouring for the shadows/highlights part. I use clip studio paint and had to play with the software a lot to understand how layer modes can help you create some effects. This is just an example, good luck for those trying and hope to see your work on the net someday!

I didn't watch Mandalarion so I'm curious about the character who drew the Ninja in this pic. Is there an interesting character in this series because the only thing I'm familiar with is Cara/Gina

Idk if it’s me tripping or what but I had a very hard time reading and comprehending this comment lol, but what I do understand is you asking if there are any interesting girls in The Mandalorian besides Cara Dune, to which I’d say Katee Sackhoff‘s live action role reprisal of the formerly animated character Bo Katan is solid. Negisaray has done some things with her since her debut in the series a few years back now. Would love to see Ninja do something with her considering he already drew some of the girls from Ahsoka when it was popular.
