For some reason whenever I try to use this I just get the message ''Sorry, this RAGS game file is unreadable". Anybody know how to fix this?

RAGS need some updated libraries to work. Check here :

And make sure that the rags file isn't set to read-only --- right-click -> Properties -> ensure the "read-only" box is unchecked.

Well, biomancy still backfires randomly. Sometimes doesn't even let me pick who I'm doing it to. I don't know what I'm doing that makes it do so. I'm using the new patch too

I've gotten that not letting you pick thing randomly with every version so far. Just stop the ritual, redo the cheat and try it again.

Looks like the cheat to craft items doesn't work anymore.
Linked to that, the starting slave Mikaela's wardrobe isn't working right, the outfits is randomly equipped to someone's else.

The second part, "not letting you pick", issue. That's being worked on. Right now there's a chance that it won't wipe the previous target when the event is finished, or, more commonly, cancelled. I'm fairly certain I know where the what causes that is, but not sure how to fix it.
As to the first part, goddamnit. I might have to remake the targeting mod after all. I was hoping enough band-aids would fix it but apparently not.

There's a weird one. The crafting cheat is entirely self-contained. It's one of the only mods that doesn't require me to run through several sections of the game planting flags. It's why it only needed a quick test. Turn it on, and craft something. That something crafts (notwithstanding a lot of randomized modifiers I have yet to master), test complete.
I'll go take a look, and here's hoping I just forgot to add back in a part of it.

As to mikaela, I hate fixing Bedlam bugs, but as I've fixed that one before, it should be easy to remedy (providing he made the same mistake).

Thank you all for reporting these mistakes to me.

Not sure about the newest version, haven't had time to try it yet, but every version before that still had biomancy occasionally fizzle or backfire. It never really bothered me unless enhance beauty backfired on a male character and turned him feminine but it does happen despite the cheat mod.
No big deal really, I just save before messing with anything important since RAGS is kind of a shitshow no matter how hard you try to fix it.

I have been having an issue where when I take Biomancer it does not show up as having been taken during character creation nor during personal assignment for my character, but it shows up on both my character sheet and when picking aspects related to it.

EDIT: Scratch that, it seems it only refuses to show up if I have both Biomancy AND Corruption chosen. I just tested it on a few characters and it shows up as long as I only have Biomancy and no Corruption on the character. Whelp, there goes my usual damn dual purpose character.

Hello folks. does anyone know how to capture a true angel? I know it involves the quest in the deep mountains, but what are the exact conditions to get one? Thank you!

I get the feeling you might actually need everything the quest text demands. I tried setting the RNG to critical success and throwing my best slavers at that quest, but only ended up with a succubus.

Must read the text more carefully.

It worked for me, I had both selected and available on my personal assignments
I think it must have been due to the fact that I take an assload of perks aside from dominator, clumsy, weak, unproven, sisterhood, harmony, and best of both.

Does this mod still force a static (and very favorable) result distribution for all assignments?

I remember trying it maybe six months ago and gave up because having 79% (or whatever it was) success chance on every mission with no way to turn it off made the game incredibly dull

You can set it for Crit success, Success, fail, or crit fail. You can also set it so you just can't crit fail, or you can play it normally.

For Frank-I wondered if it was possible to add a way to add/remove certain faiths to the characters, or barring that maybe a way to make corruption add depraved to characters. I like to play with my demon worshipers, but it's rather difficult bringing everyone along to the "proper" way of thinking lol, either they start with it or I get really lucky on sending them on a couple certain misssions.

Yeah, I remember having those options, but at least at the time even if you didn't pick any of them it still locked all odds to a static distribution.
Must just have been a bug with that version or something, good to know it's not an issue now :)

Sorry I'm late to respond, F95 wasn't showing I had any messages, responses, etc, and I'm bad for not checking the thread unless it's to update or reply.

As you mention in a later post, this could be a conflict with taking a large number of perks. I've had the issue before and have been making minor adjustments all the time to try and fix it. I'm rebuilding biomancy right now, so I'll put some extra time into figuring out what causes this.

That is indeed the case. You need everything for the quest.
Fallen Paladin (meaning you need to turn a captured paladin from that one mission into a slaver), Someone with Corruption, someone with Biomancy, and someone with Trainer. None of these roles can co-exist.
Bonus points for having tentacles and a few others, but it doesn't affect the capture.

That issue has indeed been resolved. The static 79% was a result of me not knowing how variable checks occurred, meaning all I did was raise the values as opposed to shutting them down to set my own. This resulted in the cheat persisting regardless of if the user had it on or not.
Sorry if it soured your opinion of the mod early on. I've tried from the get-go to make it so people can pick and choose how much they want to ease the experience of the games harsher mechanics, though it's been a hell of a learning curve.

Removing faiths and/or adding depraved should be-... is possible. I've toyed around enough with corruption to have figured out how I can add and remove content from slavers. Frankly, corruption is such a clusterfuck of events that it's generally where I pull from when I can't figure something out.
It would take a bit of trial and error, but I could certainly add an event to corruption to allow a player to remove ones faith in the divine.

No update planned for this week unless I finish the changes to biomancy earlier than planned, but if I take a break from that to add something someone has asked for in the past, I might release it just to get feedback.

Hey if you are not going going to update soon could link a previous version where generating clothes and armor worked? Please?
