I'm back on the horse, and there shouldn't be anything stopping me from getting the mod updated to the latest version. Shouldn't be longer than a few days,
Oh great, now Bedlam has to sift through Bedlam Code™ to find something worth a final_Final patch release.:rolleyes:

The Regalia version still got the annoying bug where it cycle back to previous assignment when you cancel it seems. It's better than pure RAGS in every other way except that bug.
Also no slavers come to talk to you at the beginning of the day.

And I seem to have permanently lost the Supply Run mission.

I greatly appreciate all efforts put into this game, sometimes I do wonder if making a clone of it in some modern programming language and importing the events somehow would not actually be a mercy for everyone involved.

Myself made a mod that hooked in on the JavaScript on the Regalia version that allowed you to set your own pictures for specific named actors. And some small tweaks. (I added a call in a select place in an existing script to my own script)

That kind of only worked for smaller interface issues.

Later I tried to create a more intrusive mod, but here I realised that I needed some deeper access. And I got some good help and did some fumbling attempts. Now I do not remember where that ended up or why nothing I did is recoverable.

Hint, I have some serious brain damage and memory issues.

Again, everything is greatly appreciated, I spent some very fun times playing this game.

Here is a simple Regalia version. Copied some of the tweaked settings over, but not sure if I got them all (it's past bedtime).

Okay, here is the corrected file. So far everything looks like it is working. Found a few minor bugs so far (You rushed yourself Frank! :p )but it is definitely playable.

For clarification (not rushing or complaining), is Slave Leader for the moment still broken? And was there ever a solution found to stop the forced encounters turning into hypnosis 'puppet leader' events? Thanks for all your hard work!

I believe there's a bug where all the assignment rolls are forced to be critical successes on the regalia version.

I have the above issue as well. Also, the 'Special Aspects' menu in character creation shows no choices and only allows you to click 'continue' without doing anything.

You can resist when being assaulted - IIRC it costs 1 distinction(?) -, and I figure you can unassign them the next day and get rid of them (Whore Makers, dangerous assignments, etc.). Or load an earlier save and preemptively get rid of the would-be assaulter. Puppet Leader takes several encounters, so if you send them packing after the first one - you are gucci.

I am a little confused, though, as to what you refer to when you say "solution", mostly because triggering the forced encounters, in the first place, depends on several factors that are extremely difficult to combine purely by accident; aside from one of the unique starts, but that one is pretty much designed to lead to Puppet Leader if you do nothing.

Not sure about the RAGS version, since I don't have it installed.

Ah you misunderstand my goal, I don't want to stop forced encounters, I want to have them as they are, as non-con scenes, without converting to hypno/bimbo scenes, which I enjoy considerably less and are a dramatic tonal shift.

Also I'm pretty sure forced encounters weren't designed to lead to the puppet leader, which was designed as a totally different thing to go with super negatives of having mentally intrusive subordinates, but was also shoved in as a convenient ending to the forced encounter thing so a new scene wouldn't have to be written/coded.

Still bugged. I'm releasing a bug fix tonight for the reported ones, and I'll try and swing getting Slave Leader running. If I can't, I can't and it will happen at a later date.
There was not yet. It's a bit of a thing to go through, and finding the trigger that starts it has been rather elusive.

Thank you. I typo'd when entering the timers name. That's been fixed.
