Ren'Py - Completed - No More Secrets [v0.11] [RoyalCandy]

The game starts off good, seemingly has a good story, nice renders. interesting mechanics of how knowing certain secrets might come into play.....

Only to throw it all out the window and end cause they want to discard this one to go work on their new game.

To sum up the ending, it is basically "They lived happily ever after and fucked" halfway through a novel, and closing every other story with a sentence or two that they spent ages building up.

each ending is just a few words and some stills, so that threesome route you were building up to and looking forward to? yeah no you get 3 still of that goodbye.

And just like this game I am going to end this review abruptly with the feeling that there should be more. without the payoff of in depth details how to fix it... because well, it is kinda obvious... To fix it, one needs only to actually finish making the game.

Fun game but not great, so 3 stars.

Pros:
Varied, attractive females to hook up with.
Starting chapters have a fun high school sexy feeling
Fun endings with epilogues (I like those)

Cons:
The "secrets" part was unnecessary and the whole deal with the father could have been left out without really changing anything.

This game had a really useless sandbox system. There was really no reason to have it. I probably dropped a star just for this.

I didn't enjoy that the MC was kind of a dick to people and you couldn't avoid it. Especially the shit with "Potter" I fucking hate bullies. His best friend suffers from this too.

The repetitive dialogue : "she's hungry for it" "XXX is going to kill me!"

Overall a good effort. I'll be sure to check out his next game.

I really liked this game until the ending. It seems as if the the developer just gave up and gave us endings to get the project closed out. All of the exceptional work that was done in developing the story and the relationships was destroyed by the terrible endings.

That's what every good game should look.
This game is not original in his mechanic or grasphism or even animation, and yet its still very good with a plot good enough to keep you playing. It might be not the best game of all time, but it's more then enough to keep you occupied for many hours.
Shame i can't voted 4.5/5 but i can't rated this 5/5 because i find the sex scene a bit underwhelming. Otherwise very good, easy top 8 on those i played so far.
I will follow his next work with interest, keep up the good work!!

Very interesting game, it start slow so dont expect much action before chapter 2 or 3 but dialogues are funny enough to keep going.

Model are great and all the girls are beautiful.

Choice are logic enough to keep going with girl of your choice and I didn't need walkthrought to get to the sex scene, so it's a good thing in my book.

The only 2 things missing are a good epilogue with further details for each character like what become steven or what happen with your familly if you don't choose them, etc..
Second point is Brian's dad disappearance which is never exploited. From the overview I was expecting some kind of investigation to uncover why the father disappeared. MC forfeting school and playing badass detective with some sexy action could have been a really good story.

At the end, it's your average boy meet girls and have sex story but as I really enjoyed it i give it 4/5.

Ooookay this game was a wate of time, it may have an average story and beautiful girls but all the good ends there, the sex scenes are horrible made and they are too few the endings are awful (no action at all), for all the above i don't think anyone will play this one more than one time

Story : This is the thing i dont like From the beginning of the game you already thinking I hope we can make love with lizzie And thats the only thing i dont really like I have like s that you can make love with here But I dont like that i takes so long before they finally confess there love for each other

Really enjoyable game. I would rate the game 4/5, it gets an extra star for lizzie and vanessa models.

Good game. i enjoyed the characters, the models, and the attempt to put in a sandbox approach, even if it's more or less "go look for the next thing to do". I would have gone for 5 stars, but it really bothers me that behaving like a normal human being could lead you to unavoidable sex scene in a "pick your waifu" scenario. In order to avoid them you should go for the "jerk option". That a problematic approach for immersion i think.

Very much enjoying this game. Story is good enough for me to care about the characters, MC & NPCs. Plenty of stunning ladies and you can get it on with every single one of them - win!!
It seems to be mainly harem, but from reading the posts it seems there are multiple endings and different choices throughout the game which can open and/or close routes with the girls.
So, if you want to focus on one specifically, you can.
If you want to bang em all, you can.
Win fucking win.

*edit: Notice some other reviewers here mention not being able to rewind to make different choices, but I'm guessing that may not have been available in earlier versions, because I am certainly able to.
Another plus point is that it's awesome to have a complete game to play, rather than needing to wait for future installments to finish the story, but that just comes down to timing & me being late to the party.

It is an interesting game, I like the relative variety of girls and options, a fluid story, it hurts the bdsm plot that I did not end up curdling, however, the images are of good quality and with nice tints.

Pros:
- Although most of the sexual content was still images, it was still pretty hot
- Good assortment of girls with varying personalities
- Turns into a total fuckfest in the latter half
- Very easygoing and simple play through, you basically just choose who you want to pursue and who you don't, no need to grind or choose specific things.

Cons:
- You can fuck around all you want, all that matters is what you do at the very end, during prom. Some people will like this (I did) but from a story perspective is felt cheap.

Lots of girls, lots of roads, lots of endings! That's what best fits No More Secrets. Special mention for my "crush" Brandy and Vanessa.

The visuals are more than correct and even if the animations are a bit under, it's always a plus to have them. A huge replayability is on the program since there are no less than 16 endings waiting for you. Enough to fulfill almost all your expectations!

I don't give it five stars because there is no such thing as perfection. And also because the available endings may disappoint some people because we don't play them. Moreover, some characters are much less present depending on the chapters and if your waifu is in them, too bad for you.

On the other hand, if I could have given it 4.5 stars, I would have done it with pleasure.

So don't hesitate, I highly recommend it. And since criticism is easier than practice, I would like to say thank you and congratulations to Jason from RoyalCandy for his work.

This is one of rare story where girls have personality.Do give a try.Variety of ending but pretty obvious that author has clear fav.I do wish some has better ending but satisfied none the less.looking forward to his next works

Overall, this was pretty good. I liked the models and artwork. Definitely would love a little bit more animation. One nitpick, all of these chicks were pretty stacked, although not overly bimbo-like - I'm always down for a little womanly variety.

The game has good graphics, it makes use of the tools you have. At the same time, the game does not blow you away. The first three chapters seemed highly promising but then it turned into more or less a very standard game found on this site. There were features that could have been expanded on a lot more and the choices you make should've had a far greater impact.

But hey, the game is still good on its own - I just feel it could've been a lot more.

I enjoyed the game enough to finish but that's about it. The story is good enough but suffers from bad writing. The dialogue is sometimes very robotic and characters lack variety in dialogue. What do I mean? Well most characters say very similar things, the difference between them is found in very basic character traits. One girl is very slutty, one is shy and many are pretty bland. Most of the girls fit under one of these character traits.

Granted there are moments that are great, those who have finished will know something that happens to Stephania that made me genuinely feel for her. However she kinda poofs and then you kinda don't care about her. If you break up with her when she does appear she acts like an ass even if you have been a saint to her... just felt odd.

The relationship with the mother in the game does not feel natural at all which honestly was the worst part of it all.

Beyond that the game has nice renders even if nothing is animated. The story premise is what really carries the game but the end falls on its face because I suspect the dev just wanted to be done. The last two episodes basically felt like MC walked betwen love interests and fucking them. I would say, try the game but don't expect anything great.

I did an early review pointing out all the inconsistencies i found during gameplay. Eventually , those mistakes only, would make the biggest post ever, so i decided to delete them, but theres are a lot, starting with the message in the sink about "not washing teeth cause not gonna be kissing anybody today"

Then theres the naming issues with "my Phill/principal/smithsomething". that is a mess.

Some choices dont seem to matter, and others that should be present arent even there.
There are pacing issues with tne canon story, and i think Steph, they both got stalled for 1 or 2 chapters. The thing with the asian Saeki was supposed to ahve consequence but game ended soon after that. Fucking wywhore at prom is an option but still pointless as hell, but once you clic on her, it just happens.

When the abortion thing happen i started caring about Steph, then she dissappeared from the game, and when she got back i couldn care less, cause things were moving with Lizz and the same thing happened again. When Lizz plot came back couldnt enjoy it for a while.

The "plot twist" with steve i expected it, but i thought it was bad writing., turned to make sense, not many things in this game make sense, this one does. Not like jerking off to porn games after having sex with a loved one.

The game got better as chapters developped,in my opinion because steve having less weight, and the relationships developping. Ending seems rushed, nothing new, many games suffer from that.

Visually is good enough, nothing spectacular and theres some noticeable seams some times, or geometry showing. As usual deformations suck, i dont know why devs keep using this bending ass poses , they look horrible bad, like misplaced prosthetics bad.

Eventually the experienced of the game is bound to the payoff. Its possible to achieve some sort of redemption ark with the Mc, it goes from untolerable douche, to sort of likeable. Its all about choices and some choices that make him an asshole still remain so its not perfect.

But seeing the big picture, the game, for me, improves from 2 stars out of pitty to well deserved 3.
