I plan to have a brief scene with some special artworks, however nothing too crazy - you have to win this one to get the good stuff. As the game starts to progress into later matches (2nd or 3rd poker match with the same girl) the matches will start to focus more on exciting endings of different types (for wins and losses)

So if im reading this correct, there will be even more poker games with the girls in the future and not just a one and done type of deal? If so thats extremely based, my man lol

Also dont worry about the Player's clothes not showing up. You're still doing a crazy amount of work, thats a totally fine change. No need to make things harder for yourself

Being worked on as I type this... good news soon. Hopefully.

Artwork is 99% complete. The remaining 1% is simply additional artworks I am adding as I actually build out the scenes. Roughly 50% of scenes are fully complete, however that 50% is primarily the most difficult, complex scenes (the actual major stripping sequences). The remaining 50% is fluff, extra routes, and ambient dialogue, which I hope is much faster.

Can't give a specific date, because I find that things frequently take much longer than I expect.

I am confident that future strip poker sequences will not take this long. As part of this update, I have produced over 15,000 images (that does not mean this scene contains 15,000 images but rather, I have generated in total over 15,000 most of which I do not use.) There is a lot of experimentation, a lot of testing out scenes, poses, framing, styles. A lot of things learned. Lots of slow processes that hopefully can be quicker next time.

Anyway, I'm hoping to have this ready, "soon"

Ok at this point I will commit to a release at some point this weekend. I actually think I went overkill on some parts of it, I added too many images, and have too many little routes in the dialogue that I think 1% of people will ever see. So I've learned a lot for the next poker sequence. I just need to stop adding stuff and get this released.

After I release it, I'll post a little bit of a retrospective on this update, what took so long, what I learned, and what I'm planning to do differently next time, etc...

Happy to get this one out. I don't want to over-hype it, because I learned a lot and I think my next one after this one will actually be much better and release much faster. But, that doesn't mean this one isn't good, I'm still very happy with how it turned out, in general.

I added too many images, and have too many little routes in the dialogue that I think 1% of people will ever see.

As somebody who tries to find that type of niche situations in everything I play, I appreciate those little routes

New Update - v05

There's a lot new in this update, so let me break it down!



1: New Scene with Ashely

• 200+ artworks (3x as many as the previous longest scene in the game)
• Lots of other goodies, I'll let you play it to see

2: New Hint System

• The game now contains hints at certain spots to ensure you don't miss the most exciting optional side content
• Hints are available in 2 spots
  • 1: After completing a date
  • 2: Before starting a poker match (available after winning once)

• Each hint has a star rating.
  • 3-star hints are, in my opinion, worth replaying the entire scene to experience.
    • There are 2 of these in the game, both are new in this update.
  • 1-star hints are minor dialogue variations.
  • 2-star hints are somewhere in between and usually unlock a wallpaper

3: Poker Pro Plus!

A new mode after you lose poker at least once, you can activate Poker Pro Plus! (if you want to) to gain additional cheats!

I may add more features here in the future.

Currently this is only available in the new Ashely event, but I will likely add it to earlier events as well.





4: Skip Confirmation & Play Again for Dates

The game will now ask for confirmation before skipping the date. This is to prevent accidentally skipping

There is also a 'Play Again' button added to the Date completion screen


5: Ask Anna About Her Cats!

I recommend asking Anna about her cats in her date sequence at the restaurant. It's a brand new 3-star event!


6: Some Other Fixes

• If your monitor resolution is less than the usual amount the game requires, it will load in a smaller window so that you can resize it as needed. Previously, it could be too large and go off the screen

Love the new update. The new Ashley stuff was 10/10 and the Hint system is a great addition.

I got a minor suggestion and its not a priority but for a future update would it be possible to have an easier way to browse the wallpaper app? Its getting a bit much to keep clicking next at this point haha

Yeah I noticed that too, with the latest update adding 30+ wallpapers it is hard to browse now

Next update I plan 2 things:

1: A better scene selector inside the phone

2: A better wallpaper app

New fullscreen button in the options menu, since somebody requested it. Since I added this, I also needed to add a 'Quit Game' button, otherwise it is impossible to exit when fullscreen:





Soon I'll post some more info regarding the next story. I have something slightly ambitious in mind. Also, I have not made a post around my development process recently. I am planning an update post about how I currently generate images, since I have been getting some questions about it.

New Update Info!

First off, I know many will be happy to hear that it will feature everyone's favorite traffic cone.

But I want to try something a bit more ambitious with this update.

1. I am going to remove the DateConnect app from the phone. I have decided that poker alone is not really good/fun enough to be the ONLY game in the entire story. I think the new dating minigame can be an alternative interactive element. Instead of having it as optional side content, it will now occasionally be part of the main story. So...
2. This segment will feature the new dating minigame, and it will feature 2 distinct routes. The route you get will depend on whether you win or lose the minigame. Each of these routes will feature an entirely different sequence of events and both are worth playing. You can replay this scene as many times as you need to, until you get the score you want.

More information on my future plans:

• As far as poker goes, I still plan poker for the following characters:
  • Ashely's rematch
  • Lisa's training
• However, it is possible that Anna won't have her own 'strip poker' sequence. She will definitely have a stripping sequence, but whether it's going to be done through poker, is something I am still trying to figure out.
• Amy is still TBD

To be clear, all characters will have more strip-related events, I'm just not sure at this point if ALL the events will always be poker or if I'll come up with some other kind of minigame (a different card game, or something entirely different). I find the poker can be very boring after hundreds of rounds.

The next update is shaping up to be a good one. I don't want to give away too much but it has some of my favorite art in the game and I'm hoping to make a story that makes it all come together.

I guess I'll turn this comment into an impromptu status update since I haven't posted in a bit:

• Preliminary art is 100% complete. It comes out at ~150 images which is about 2x as many as the previous longest non-strip-poker sequence in the game. "Preliminary art" means art which has the overall structure that I want for the image, but it still needs touching up to look consistent with the rest of the game. Some images need a LOT of touching up, and some don't need fixed at all.

• Final art is about 30% complete. So about 40 of the total 150 preliminary images is fully complete and ready to be added to the game

• The introduction text message sequence is complete

Still to complete:

• Finalize the remaining 100 images
• I am planning another date sequence for this scene. That is still in early stages and I need to figure out what exactly you'll be talking about.
• The overarching story is planned out, but I still need to write the actual dialogues

Art for the next update is officially complete! The quality of the art in this scene is really a step up from most of the rest of the game. However there is still a lot to do, especially since this scene has multiple different branches and is the first scene to use the new date minigame.

I don't want to commit to any specific time frame on when the full update will be ready, because I want to make sure this scene comes out perfect, and sometimes I need to see the entire complete scene as a unit before I can figure out what it needs / what changes to make / any new art that needs created. I might get it created and then realize it needs some significant changes. However, it will probably be about 2 weeks (since the large majority of time that I can spend working on this is on weekends, so that's 2 weekends of work.)

Also, in regards to future updates, I have been thinking about some ways to change things up. For one, I feel as if I have under-utilized the phone message system. Currently I mostly use it to set up non-phone events, and I add a handful of photos to them. However I think there is a lot of potential for more complex phone scenes with more art, more choices, and more interaction. They can potentially serve as their own complete scene rather than just setting up new scenes. So this is something I will experiment with in future updates.

Thanks for sticking around for this one. It took a while for 2 reasons:

1. It just ended up being a lot more story than I had originally expected. This now has as many artworks as the Ashely poker sequence!
2. My real life job has taken a lot of time for the past couple weeks, which has limited how much time I could work on weekdays, so I have only been able to work on it on weekends. Sad, but, that's just the way life goes.

But, I also think for an update of this size, this is probably about how long it will usually take, as I am just a solo developer working on it when I can, and I am starting to realize why it takes SO long to make games!

Anyway, I am still having a lot of fun making it, and have some exciting ideas for the future. Thanks to everyone who is part of the community

What's next after this:

I have accumulated a long list of fixes that I want to make to the game. This is all sorts of things, from story changes to bug fixes to adding sound effects to fixing music, etc... My focus over the next couple weeks will be to fix the game and get it to the best possible state.

After that, I'm going to start planning for the next big sexy sequence. I'm not sure who it will feature right now, though I have ideas for each girl. Will just need to decide who gets the update!

Assorted Other Fixes
- Ashely's poker scene how cycles through its 3 songs, rather than picking 1 song and looping it
- Slow fades for some scenes, making the transitions less abrupt
- In some cases the animation in the ashely theater sequence didnt play
- Clicking spacebar while the UI is hidden would still progress the game
- Clicking the 'cheat' button too fast would use multiple cheats
- Sometimes, the cheat was not powerful enough and you could still lose. Now, you get the statistically most powerful hand in poker, every time
- Fixed the '10 cheat' option for Ashely's poker scene
- Added an icon to the exe for game!
- Slightly moved the 'Skip Date' icon to make it less likely to accidentally press
- Fixed issue where you sometimes couldnt see the last page of the wallpapers app
- Better descriptions for certain wallpapers on how to unlock them

Played through the previous version and liked it more than I was expecting with the AI CG tag. Thought the art was solid overall.

Liked the anticipation and teases from Ash for her scenes and the dialogue for each strip milestone. Also liked how the scene can change based on who is ahead. Maybe there could be a future one for an underdog comeback? Like she gets cocky and offers to do something more extreme since she thinks she will win? Could be a hard-to-get reward for the scene you need to replay to get for the most intimate CG.

Have a potential idea for Anna, if you didn't want to do strip poker for her.

Strip photoshoot session:
After not getting much a reaction from him, she sets up a situation where the MC can do a photo shoot of her. She starts off tamer, but she gets annoyed by the MC still not knowing who she is and not worshipping her like her other fans. Wanting his attention, this leads her to show off more, eventually leading to going much farther than planned and actually stripping/doing more embarrassing poses due to getting lost in the moment. Would be curious what you are thinking of as well. Think the strip poker provides a good ground for a build-up and dialogue based on how they are performing, so would think something with similar potential would be good. While the preference order game adds the potential for branching paths, it has less options for build-up/rounds, so the date game/strip poker stye fits better for the spicy scenes since the buildup potential is a bit better.

For future updates, not sure how hard it is to be consistent across scenes, but is there any plans for a character to have pubic hair? Maybe for Anna? Also, any future plans for anal later down the line?
