It's not about them being visually offputting, it's about them being made with AI.
It's like if a game dev used private pics from an ex without their consent. Even if they had an alternative option, them being used in the game is off putting conceptually.
So turn them off in the settings before you start playing, and they will never
be used in the game. But as Shinita said, that is a false equivalency. He's taking his own self-created source material and using AI to animate it because it works better than his own attempts at animation. It's not exploitative, it's not criminal, it's no more immoral than the source material is in the first place (which we all came here looking for, so rather hypocritical to judge from that aspect) and again, don't like it?
