Even if the plot is not the most original in many ways (see the magician/healer who "curses" the protagonist), the dialogues are particularly well written. They are polite, cute, intelligent, ironic. This game is a breath of fresh air (like in the library scene). I loved it! I would have liked to see the ghost change clothes often (and maybe even color). Something sexier wouldn't have gone amiss.

Pretty good romance visual novel, it's wholesome, made me go trough a few emotions really well, some of the stuff is very relatable and make you think about your own life.

I really liked the art and the chara design for the main girl, really good writing, no porn but wasn't a problem with how good this was, and also some good music.

Recommended if you want to read a vn without your dick in you hand !

    Hi there.

    1. I give this one 4 stars, 4 for the (imo) very good writing and depiction of the characters, -1 for the ending with "the voices" which was far too "typical human thinking while being in divine spheres". You should give it a try, if you're not afraid of a few tears (perhaps) and some deep thinking about your own life, then you should definitely go for it.

    2. There is no se. content to look upon, there is one love scene, however, which is fitting (perfectly) into this novel. As usual I don't care about the missing se. content but mainly about the writing (am I really visiting the right forum?)

    3. The depiction of the character traits of Pseudo and Holly were done quite well, including the drawings and the arts (the backgrounds not so much...). There were some inconsistencies with Pseudo's character during the story, however they got (somewhat) explained at the end with "the voices"...and that wasn't executed very well.

    4. Here and back at Steam there are some of the opinion that the writing is terrible. For me this is not true as the writing flow itself is rather genuine and seems like real talking (with actual feelings behind it) most of the time.

Regarding the story itself: I guess it depends on how much you're willing to immerse yourself into and go with it. Essentially, this is not a story about a nowhere girl (aka ghost) but a story about a nowhere direction of your life, where you just go on and on without a real purpose, hoping for things to change in your direction while they actually change away from you - and without you. Until you make a stand and go for the one thing that really matters to you, not regarding the costs...and this is where the story got me as I saw the truth in it...

The "good" ending did subvert my expectations, but it was the good ending nonetheless because they both wished for it to happen...be careful what you wish for... ;-)

    Many thanks to the devs.

    9/10

The story is beautiful, immersive (especially if you can connect with it) and well written, even if it's linear and it doesn't seems that choices make much a difference. It follows a logic and the characters reaction are realistic.

This type of 2D art style is nice, much better than the usual anime and most of 3DCG ones; the music is great too, and suits well the mood of the game (but sometimes it doesn't loop perfectly).

There aren't any sexscene or erotic content, which could be a huge turn down for a lot of people (not for me though). The game is short with only 2,5/3 hours of gameplay and there isn't much replayability.
These are the only two cons i could find.

In conclusion "Nowhere Girl" is a game worth playing if you like this type of VN which focus on romance and a deep story that leaves something after you finish it.

    Game as little creepy song
Just glad, haved a chance to read this story now, but .. f**k .. now need stop crying .. Imagey has use in novel most remind me some close story at life. Short but very sensitive, some of this experiences i need have in life. But not have chance make in flesh. I hope now i may continue my life, break my brake and say f**k off to my depression,
or just give up. If i look like a sensitive or pathetic.. it just post-novel syndrome, all time beside this story i'm chill like rock and dumb like Brike.. just i readed a good novel now/

I don't see the "not sexual" tag, so this game was not what i expected.
I am sure as hell this is not F95 normal material, but its in fact a very good story and pretty much conect wit my self, so yeah its a really advisable experience .

Completely didn't see the no sexual content tag. Didn't really care by the end (although I'm a bit of a sap).

Writing and art are excellent, this is well worth checking out/ supporting on steam for those who are fans of games in general.
