Progress of Lara Unleashed 2
Went through scenes and files and this is the current state of progress, which is at ~ 70% completion. We coming close to half an hour of video length at this point.
Animation related work:
- Walk and teasing scene at bus stop

- Adding a small animation in the seduction scene incl. anal beads

Two legit questions that pop up:
Why does it take so long and when is it finished?
Answer to first question is mainly: miscalculations...
Everytime i spend time improving stuff i said to myself "this will work", problems occured when used for different motions, poses, collissions etc. (Thats how you guys got ETAs like 2-3 month...)
And then i end up wasting time to find the source of that issue, looking for a workaround or trial and error a complete other way.
And i do need to enhance, cuz i want quality over quantity in my work.
The complexity of working with simulations, especially in combination with human bodies, is troublesome. Was aware of it from the start, but shit i had to deal with exceeded my imagination.
There is also the fact, that switching to a new software, or better said +4 softwares, studying them and also dealing with their bugs exhausted me quite a bit. Im not as productive as i was before a year or so...
Last thing is my main job and private life affecting progress, too. Im not doing 3d porn as a living, please keep that in mind. Doesnt mean you shouldnt ask about release date. Will always be transparent and honestly tell you current progress and my estimations, but i just cant foresee the issues and bugs that could happen, which at the end dragged this so much.
Another last thing which i already said couple times before, this is a one time situation. Meaning when development is finished, production of episodes and smaller projects will be faster, since those problems i described above wont occur. In fact, with an established workflow and pipeline from start to finish, production of LU2 wouldnt last longer then 6 month, even when its a 30 min long video...
But im not at that stage at the moment and therefore cant answer the second question without it ending false again. All i can give is an ETA where animation and simulation work is finished, which would be before end of this year. This is a safe estimation, since im almost done with any improvement.
