Cosmo RP requires a OpenAI api key?You don't have to to pay for CosmoRP, it's fully free and really good. It's a one of the models used for chatting with those bots. Just head to the discord of it, and there's everything. From tutorial, to anything else. You must be registered to see the links
No, it has its own API key. CosmoRP is a standalone model and doesn't require anything from OpenAI. To create your own API key, head over to the 'Bot' channel on Discord and type /keyCosmo RP requires a OpenAI api key?
You mean Janitor AI? I haven't tried that one yet.How does it compare to JAI?
The trick for JanitorAi is to once in a while remind your bot what you said and it will remember. Also, you have to write longer responses. I like typing a lot so it's no problem for me.This is my first time commenting in this forum, i highly recommend xoul.ai
I tried janitor, spicychat, kindroid and many others that i can't even remember, but this is the one that got me coming back, it's uncensored, has voice calls and it's almost fully free (it has a limit for free generated images and voice chats)
The thing i like from it is that the responses are shorter and more natural than janitor or spicychat, everytime i use janitor every response is around 20 lines, and it forgets what it said 4 messages ago
Also has a nice context memory, the devs said are 12k, but i'm not really sure
Yup same thing and use the memory function tooThe trick for JanitorAi is to once in a while remind your bot what you said and it will remember. Also, you have to write longer responses. I like typing a lot so it's no problem for me.
After 15 to 20 responses, type "can you please give me a summary of the story so far?", it will make your chat last way longer.I tried a few ai since my last post here, but it's true that the problem with ai is mainly their memory. But it's strange since when you return to continue the conversation, the conversation is keep. They should remind what they say and the user say.
Is the idea to be good at conversations that have X messages? If you go over it then the conversation can trail off, nothing you can do?
As the other guy said, you can do a lot with the bots. But the constraint is that their total capacity to read stuff is limited to the token limit. Usually 8k tokens for online sites like janitor or chub. You can keep the AI on track for a very extensive story session by using Chat Memory function. Basically things you write on there will be in the bot's memory permanently. But of course, the chat memory also uses up tokens. So the more tokens you use on the chat memory, the less it will have to refer to the chat history. This means there will come a time eventually where it's just not worth continuing, but that can be hundreds of messages in.Whoo, I haven't really played with ai chatbots since character ai a month after its release. I've mostly tried janitor ai and I was really surprised at how good it can be sometimes. There's no need for me to mention the struggles the current tech has as anyone who knows his shit will already know them. I do have a question tho.
Is the idea to be good at conversations that have X messages? If you go over it then the conversation can trail off, nothing you can do? I'm okay if that's the case, like you start a chat and do your thing, maybe it's porn roleplay and you get your nut off and that's the end. But like, there are some really cool characters that you may want to get out of the initial setting but in doing so the char forgets what makes them them you know?
So really complex conversations are out of the question I guess? Also it's a shame when you click with a char as you may want to play out different scenarios with them but the are bound by their initial settings. I do understand there are methods to tune the AI, settings or prompts that help you mitigate the weaknesses but it's kind of shitty that you have to tinker with it so much. It takes the fun out of the conversation I believe.
Again, maybe this is just a matter of perspective on my part. I just really don't understand the endgame here. Fall in love with a text generator hoping they don't mess the context? take a step back and just have silly fun for a bit?
yeah once you're able to download the entire LLM and open it's memory up as far as you wantI wonder if it will ever be possible for bots to remember everything.
