I think you can easily find models to be run locally but the problem is that you gotta be willing to pay on a per token basis. On average I'd say it'd cost you 20 bucks a month because the good stuff uses ChatGPT 4 or similar
NSFW AI chatbots

Yeah, finding models to run locally is not a problem. But they are roughly the same as it is on spicychat or other services. They forget things that are older than the token limit. After just a few promts the character can change drastically. But at playnarrator for example you have characters on the side and can attach information to them. And the AI will not forget them. Even if there are more characters then one and even if you didn't interact with them in the story for a long time. If you write that Char A is a blond girl with a wild personality and owns a little shop downtown, then you can interact with Char B and C for hours and when you visit the shop downtown again, Char A appears with the set looks and personality. You have to add new information to the chars manually, but it's better than that the AI forgets about them entirely or mix attributes between chars, if you have more than one. Most AIs are not good in differentiating between more than one people. It happened more than once to me, that the AI gave my character attributes from the bot I was talking to or vice versa. Like I write "I take the take the bread into my hands and bite a piece off." And the AI answers "Char X looks at the bread in her hands and throws it away." Happens in often strange ways. Sometimes even in one post of the AI itself.
So yeah, it would be great, if there would be software, that would give me some kind of frame for the chars and the story, to not forget important key points and can be used in an NSFW context. Like playnarrator. Or better. But their system is the best I found so far for SFW content and is a good step in the right direction, if you would ask me.
But as you mentioned ChatGPT 4: Is their a paid site you can recommend, that uses it and is capable of NSFW? I thought OpenAI doesn't allow it to be used for porn, regardless with which platform you use it?

Sorry for my late reply. Yes, there should be plenty of websites that do. In short, porn fried my brain so I can't remember the how but you can find everything here. You can also use other models.

Since I didn't see it mentioned, I would definitely recommend trying
They have a vast collection of bots and some have extended responses up to 5000 characters. There is no wait times and the site is constantly getting updates. They even have a vibrant discord community that's growing fast.
I even created a few private bots myself and those turned out great and you can customize their appearance and even their voice if you have a few images and and audio recording. Based on the RP you can then ask for a pic and you get a spicy deepfake image of the scene, pretty good immersive experience overall I'd say.

Some bots are just chat bots while others are exactly like the ones you'd expect from spicy except they write way more than on spicy and the best part is there are automated AI responses you can answer instead of having to figure out what to say! I'm impressed.

I've been playing around with it some more. Dayum. It's good. It even has voice gen with some bots as well as image generation. It also has RPG games with image generation like VNs. How the hell does this work without any waiting times?!!!

Glad, you're having fun. Yup, they have done a good job in training their models to run quite efficiently or maybe its not hit mainstream yet so maybe have enough resources to sustain it for now, though they do have a good collection of bot. The claude based ones I think give more detailed replies like the Astrid bot

Yeah, I saw that. It wasn't restricted till last month. However, the idea of generating a new response is essentially to train it at the user level. The same applies when editing responses. There are other ways like jailbreaking that the discord site offers if that's what you are interested in.

No, not for joining but they have early bird giveaways and participation contests where they give.
Jailbreaking as to customize and fit your RP. Things like change language or RP as a different character or kinks that were not a part of the bot ~ that's my lose understanding of it.

Thank you so much for your responsiveness and your help. I'm having a lot of fun! It's really scary that in a year or two from now, we're gonna be spending our days trapped in these AI worlds and we'd be so immersed we wouldn't need to play actual video games anymore lol

I am going to try this out some more. Voice and sending pics is a really cool concept. I chatted with a bot earlier but couldn't see where to listen to audio and they refused to send me a picture, so maybe I'm doing it wrong.

I've been trying out Kndroid AI recently and it's worth checking out, It has a free version and paid version. It also has a image generator that is actually pretty good.

I tried several free AI chats for NSFW purpose, so I'll put my shorts reviews of those that are promising. I must say that I am surprised how little documentation there is about AI chats, their reviews and guides how to use them.
I spent most my time with Joyland AI and made 2 characters. They were the same, just tried 2 different formatting (w++ and text prompt). You can use voice for your character, but I don't recommend it. Every voice I tried sounds like a robot. You can Joyland AI 20 times a day for a

Characters break every so often (maybe I didn't code well, but I doubt it) and constantly forget things, even your name. AI often gives out of character and nonsensical responses, but those can make for some

If you introduce character to someone else ("user and character meet Daria, a deranged sexual predator" for example) there is high chance that character will broke and either assume that you or it is the new introduced character.
Also NSFW filter can randomly activate which is very annoying. For example I called adult woman "girl" and asked her for a blowjob and AI stated that violence against children is not allowed.
All in all, I think there are much better free NSFW AI chats, so I don't recommend Joyland AI in it's current state.
Nomi AI is very solid NSFW chat. You get 5
a day. Responses from AI are usually quick, but can sometime take time, probably depending on current site traffic.
You can shortly edit you character before chat. For example I created a woman with submissive sexuality, but AI made character totally submissive, which is a bit boring. No matter what kind of perversion I tried AI accepted it and responded with quite logical responses. I tried various fetishes and AI produced them (BDSM, pet play, urination, etc...), so I am not sure if this AI even have NSFW filter (which is good for us perverts).
AI is capable of introducing additional quest characters, so you can have threesome for example, but you need to clearly state to whom you are talking or doing stuff.
Main problem with this AI is somewhat bad memory, but AI will correct itself if reminded and then often make the same mistake again later.
All in all, I am very satisfied with Nomi AI.
Kindred AI seems to be the best free AI I tried. First AI I didn't see long-term/character input memory fail (only short-term memory fail) and character looks quite lifelike. I didn't use this AI for long, but so far all responses from AI were logical and respected character input. Main issue is slow response from AI and limited messages. FAQ claims that there is no NSFW filter which is great.
- 1 text message every 20 minutes, stacks up to 50
- 1 audio message every 10 messages sent (up to 10 per account lifetime)

I am just trying it out. I must say I that am not impressed so far. Long waiting to chat is my the last complaint. I menaged to broke character in under 50 messages, which isn't that unusual for AI chats.
My main complaint is that AI rush forward. For example, you are constantly rushed in sex scenes so you can't enjoy step by step approach if you like to focus on details.
Another thing, AI very often decides in my name, for example it writes how I feel about something, what I hope and so on. AI shouldn't speak in my name and lead my actions.
And not to forget, after every response there is like inner monologue of a character. They become very repeating and boring quick.
All in all, I didn't get the impression that SpicyChat AI is any smarter than Joyland AI or Nomi AI and I really dislike the way it narrates.
EDIT - After trying properly written character, SpicyChat is actually very good NSFW AI chat.

Memory
Joyland AI ignore more than half of character input I wrote, so that's quite frustrating.
Nomi AI molds as you play, but still forgets lots of things, but can be reminded. It has capability to check previous actions.
Both Joyland AI and Nomi AI have quite bad memory. Main difference is that Nomi AI will correct itself if reminded and Joyland AI will fight you and push it's ideas.
I didn't play enough Kindred AI or SpicyChat, but I get the impression that they also suffer from memory limits.
From all of them I think that Kindred AI has best memory, but can't really tell.
Narration
Joyland AI has the best narration by far when working properly, which isn't that often. It also has the terrible NSFW filter which will ruin your experience if you want anything that is not to his liking. I guess I am marked for toxic muscality or some other bullshit on Joyland AI as I can't use it for long before NSFW filter kicks in.
Nomi AI have simple and usually short, but workable narration style. It tailors how you play and doesn't judge. If anything, Nomi AI often takes to extreme what I try to do with it, which is quite boring so I tried worse and worse perversions to test it, but it seems that everything goes. Nomi AI really tries to tailor itself to user's style, but it isn't challenging at all in my experience. With copy-pasting reminders and some handholding Nomi AI has narrated every perversion I put it through,
Kindred AI has short answers, but they seem more lifelike than other AI chats. I didn't used much cause of message limit, but Kindred AI holds promise so far.
SpicyChat has by far worst narration I ever saw for reasons I mentioned before. AI rush you through scenes, it decides for you (what you think and do) and most of it's texts goes to character inner monologue which soon become very repeating and boring.
Overall enjoyment
Joyland AI is currently mostly frustration. It might become good if they ease up on NSFW filter and improve memory of characters.
Nomi AI is currently my favorite. It is workable, but you have to handhold AI in the way you want to play it.
Kindred AI seems interesting and I'll try it more, but I am not sure if it's better than Nomi AI, it certanly isn't more enjoyable with it's slow responses and limited messages.
SpicyChat I didn't like and I doubt I'll return to it.
