Those I follow haven't deleted, but in general yes, it started when they announced that NSFW images won't be allowed.

So other than Spicy, JAI, and Kindroid (which thankfully went back to the free unlimited mode), are there are other new sites for sexy RP, that don’t require technical skills and downloads?
I am new to this. The only site I have used is perchance.org. It seems to work well. You can define attributes on the character. It is strictly text based.

Perchance gives you a lot of control. It does have a photo generator and is completely free.

I tried a few. Spicy, nectar (i regret to have take a full year membership even in promotion at 60$/euros) , gpt, nomi (not bad but a little censored because of play store), rprp (tried in free version, got bugged at the first message directly) and a few other clones but even if it's not perfect, i go back always to kindroid.
But i checked if some new appear, sadly it's often on ui (web) almost clones or too much expensive (it's almost become a scam for some).
But if some know new one, i will be curious too.

One of the reasons is that people speculate that's slow progress of banning NSFW in general even though the site is 18+ because potential investors hate porn. Since till this day you can still roleplay without censoring taboo themes and hardcore content, the site is not there yet. The other reason is that the owner wants to implement the payment method so you could pay for adult explicit content and another one is that the site have major problems with minors and they attract pedophiles. I have to say that minors are problem because they are even resented in the fanfiction community too.

I remember back in the day we had MUDs that people did this in together. I guess those are now rebuilt today in the modern culture with AI? That's good I guess!
