Okay but that is when the contract is confiscated, the problem I ran into was the menu option "I already have a contract" wasn't appearing. Am I misunderstanding your explanation and this solves that, or is it a different bug?

fixed the issue where the “I already have a contract” option wasn’t appearing. After confirming that fix, I also addressed a second, related edge case that could cause the option to stay hidden under certain conditions.

yes, this fix covers the missing menu option you ran into. The confiscated-contract scenario I mentioned was the
additional edge case I found while re-testing, not a replacement for your report. I realize I explained the second one before clearly stating the first was already fixed. My bad on the ordering.
