..I am sure this would be like swearing in the church, but NT00 could just focus a while on actually showing Yumi/Haru? We got some snippets, but it was mostly tell - not show. I am sure Yumi is capable of teasing Haru while doing it to keep the NTS undertones.

You could def do more stuff with Haru while still being in the NTS setting. On August 8th, NT00 announced tentative plans for a new Yumi series that is intended to release some time in late 2025, as early as next month. But he said it won't be updated monthly and that he wants it to have a clearly different feeling when compared to prior works. In particular that it may not be BSS focused [not focused on jealously and hard NTR themes]. So it seems the Jin creampie is the maximum that NT00 is willing to do regarding harsh NTR. In the future he may do something softer like exhibitionism or even vanilla.

If the interpolation is too smooth to look like Live2D usual movement, then it's AI.
The smoothest I've seen Live2D look were mobile games like Nikke where the mix it with multiple overlays alongside Live2D rig to make animations look smooth.
LK00's animations are great, but there are limits to what you can do with a rig.
