Dude, I just did a review of the initial release, it must be the first time I see the developer trying to adapt a work for pornography and being harmed by the fact that the work is bad, where is NTR's feeling in this game? I mean, there is a certain NTR with Ruka, but Chizuru manages to be a more empty and uncharismatic character than Asuna from SAO, and Umi (the man who is stealing Chiruzu) is totally boring too, I think what would save Chiruzu's story would be a better and perverted antagonist to corrupt Chiruzu.
All the time I was playing this I kept thinking, "Why the fuck does this guy like Chiruzu? Ruka (at least in the game, I haven't seen the original work) Ruka is much better than her, she has little screen time and already has more charisma and personality." What a bad MC, damn it, the guy surpasses himself even for the NTR genre, I see that many people say that Rent a GF is a rotten work, so the author of the game really got the essence of this shit. I must say brother, give Ruka the screen time she deserves, it was the only really interesting part of this game so far, when it comes to NTR, it makes you root for Ruka to betray this MC.

The total confusion, the sheer brain melting that comes from seeing just how GARBAGE Kazuya is and yet, somehow, Chizuru is manages to be even worse. All while wondering why no one wants any of these side girls who are somehow into the total simp that is Kazuya.

Never read or watched the source material, but harem protags in anime are pretty much always crap and comedy relieve.
Just as there is a shit ton of all kind of trash ntr manga/manwah/hentai etc out there which get supported and is just as crappy...
That being said, what do you care for why people like and support that, it ain't your money and none is forcing you to watch or read it ?

Okay for some reason you seem to think most harem MC's are like Kazuya why is that? Because I've read plenty of harems and I can think of only like one or two who are anywhere close to Kazuya's level

Its pretty interesting so far but the game froze up when on the date with Chizuru and the Mami chick shows up. So might wanna fix that bug but besides that it seems interesting so far and the Kazuya guy's sucker for love antics could be pretty interesting as an ntr scenario.
I think that's a bit of a former trope. Nowaday the harem protags are more of edgy Kirito rip-offs who were somehow wronged by some cardboard cutouts, so they now feel perfectly justified to "get revenge" that somehow involves acquiring themself a handful of slave girls who are totally head over heels for them.
(and yes, it's as cringe as it sounds)
