I have a feeling that if you fight the free pass, choose all the negative options and yet participate behind Ellie's back, the ending will be pretty much an NTR ending where they break up from jealousy. If you choose the negative options and don't participate, it will probably be an unhappy ending where she feels like you ruined her vacation and thus she breaks up with you. If you choose the supportive options and participate yourself openly, it will be a swinging ending where they stay together. If you don't participate and choose the supportive options, you will get a cuckolding ending where all you are allowed to do is wank and watch. There is also the variable of Devin, and if you are messing with her the whole time, she is probably showing Ellie the messages. You will probably end up as her cuck if you do that. There is also the possibility that if you reject Jessica too many times, she will just murder you before your girlfriend gets home.

You need to play more than one single branch to make that assertion. There are decisions in both games you can make early on that affect many things, such as the tenor of conversations and the pics you can receive, as well as what endings will be available. This doesn't mean you don't get railroaded and bulldozed toward NTR in every branch because, you know, the name of the game is NTR chat. Otherwise, it would just be called chat.

Unless you can point to an ending in either game that depends on previous decisions in order to access, this doesn't hold much promise for the things you hope for. I'm all for being positive on the potential of a game, but as it stands, the dev hasn't demonstrated any inclination toward the kind of branching approach you described.

Ye, it feels like the dev is saying, 'congrats, you avoided the bad ending but heres nothing for the effort :3' I get why it's set up that way, but sometimes it just makes me want to put the device down and stare at the wall instead. Still, branching is better than every path leading to the same ending, at least you get to pick your poison.

Eh? I've played multiple times, both compliant and rebellious, and there's never been an option to simply not hire the detective.

Regardless, as the sole example between both games, it's a pretty bad one. It effectively just amounts to "do you want more content or do you want content cut out" based on a single option. Not something that bodes terribly well for the properly branching endings that you're looking for.

The update are absolutely anemic. They are probably the absolute smallest update of the entire phone/aicg/ntr genre bar for Lora NTR in mind which is very much a first project with first time dev. In absolute most games have a longer update length and/or have multiple path to explore.
