Relax and take a pill bro. Never said anything about vanilla. Its an nts game. Just saying its not unreasonable for a game tagged as such to have options. We get it you wanna get cucked all day lol. Good NTS based games have choices to tailor to the user. And i stress good ones. I have no issues with this game, just pointing out its reasonable to expect choices to fit the user. Go play netorase phone and come back. Also still need to relax, its not that serious
How I like this approach to dialogue, with pills, when you start it and your takes are meaningless. In such games, it is enough to have several paths available to choose from throughout the game. The audience is initially defined by the description of future content and tags.
You know where and why you came, and what you will see when you launch the game. Here, a person really wants to have an “option” that goes beyond the given framework. For... "ROLE PLAYING". Here, first, it’s worth finding out the meaning of this word, which was most often used in relation to MMORPGs, where the PLAYER’S ACTIONS determined his gameplay. Other genres, even large RPGs, are limited by a predetermined choice and number of such branches. In any case, you are within the framework and you are playing the AUTHOR’S character.
So, why does a small developer making simple one-person games need to introduce filler choices into the game that allow it to be finished almost immediately, SKIPING all the content embedded in it? Nobody ever answered.
So that the game would be “good” from the point of view of literally two people? Great idea to waste your time.
In the example you gave, all the options also lead through the entire game, those that would end it immediately, but either you didn’t notice or they aren’t there. And the developer of that game clearly earns more and can afford to suffer through crap for the sake of crap.
